Our son is a math wiz and was bored in school. Mathnaseum is the only program we could find that offers an advanced program for gifted kids. Our son was placed with a private instructor who makes learning and acceleration really fun. For part of the time, they do math games and puzzles together. Our son is also learning to be more focused and to double check his work. He is loving this program!

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium since May of 2017, starting at the end of 7th grade. We are slowly approaching the one year mark! She was getting A's and B's until the end of 6th grade in middle school. At the end of 7th grade she was testing out at having a very low mastery of math skills - at a 4th-5th grade level! :( Unfortunately with the current public school math teaching model in Novato she, like many, are advanced to the next level year after year not having ever mastered the previous years. This resulted in huge gaps in her mastery and have vastly affected her middle school math grades, and even worse, her confidence. Her gaps were confirmed by another outside testing source. We tried peer tutors, private tutors, and assisting her every way we could at home, from checking work to watching videos, but she just needed more help than we could give her. She felt she was "stupid" when all she needed was more time with the material and to be given work based on where she was at, so she could continue to build on her mastery. We are so very lucky to have Sang and Mathnasium as a resource to fill the gaps. Thanks to this resource, and accelerating her work, my daughter will be caught up by the time she reaches high school. So very thankful!!

Sang Batoff, is awesome! She is passionate about helping children love math through their understanding of math, as well as the thought processing, and organization associated with math principles. The tutors are nice, helpful, and professional.

Day 1, I saw a major difference in the way my children described their relationship with math.
Each of my children have different strengths and challenge areas. Mathnasium tested and created a specialized learning plan for each of my children that meets them at their level, helps them acclimate to feeling successful solving math problems, and helps them to elevate their understanding of math.

Everyday I pick my children back up, they run to the car with smiles, and can't stop talking about what they're learning, what accomplishments they're making, excited about accomplishing their goals, and Loving Math! I can't believe it, but it's true...my children actually have developed a love for solving math problems!

I am in 8th grade. I have being attending to Mathnasium in Novato for almost a year and
I love this place and here is why:

1. The environment is relaxing not stressful
2. The Tutors are very smart and support me
3. They re-explain math homework if I did not quite get it at school to complete homework.
4. They owner Sang is caring & oversees daily
5. I learn at my own paste and with patience
6. No body makes feel uncomfortable
7. I get rewarded for my efforts passings tests
8. My current grade in math is a B+ and I am working harder to get an A+
9. I recommend Mathnasium to any student who might be struggling or want to fill any gaps
1O. Thanks to them, I passed the HSPT and I am going to Marin Catholic High School next year!

Mathnasium has been a great experience. Our daughter looks forward to going and speaks positively about her experience and learning there. Her math understanding is improving drastically.

We have had a great experience at Novato Mathnasium with Sang and her excellent tutors. With our busy family work and sports schedule Sang has been extremely understanding and flexible. The tutoring has helped our daughter get ahead in math and prepare her for PSATs. She was also just nominated to partake in a National High School Mathematics competition.

Such a friendly, clean, bright atmosphere. It’s been a good experience for me as a parent and my son loves it.

So far the experience has been really positive and my son enjoys going. The only negative I have is that it is a bit expensive which may prohibit us from coming long-term, and I can only send one of my children though I’d love to send both.
