My daughter loathes math. LOATHES! We knew we had a winner when she said, "It wasn't so bad," after her first session. Since then she has never complained or tried to get out of a single session. This is a girl who has abandoned horse riding, ice skating and music lessons mid-session.
The Mathnasium team has created a situation where she is finally comfortable doing math she understands at a pace she can manage. This was a last gasp effort, after multiple math tudors, who did their best. We did not expect it to stick. It has stuck and we could not be happier.

The pandemic severely affected my daughter in 5-7th grade. There was so much content that was missing from her education that I was afraid she would not be able to catch up. Mathnasium has helped her to feel more confident and better able to handle the content. She is not totally up to speed yet but she has a better foundation to grow.
Mathnasium has been such a great experience! After only a few months, we see a tangible improvement in math skills. The incentive-based programming is so effective that our son never complains about attending. I only wish we started sooner. We are very happy customers. Thank you, Mathnasium!
My son says he is learning a lot at Mathnasium - much easier to understand that the teacher at his former school. He also enjoys the incentives and being able to ask for help on his homework. The owner, Sang always responds quickly to any questions I may have and has been invaluable in giving advice when we were deciding to pull my son from his old school. She was ready to provide extra options for math and remained supportive when we ultimately decided to enroll in our local public school instead - despite all the time she had spent with us to try to figure out alternative schedules for him. I would hands down recommend this Mathnasium. The staff are great and Sang really engages you as a community member - you are not just another number to her. She really really cares that your child does well!

My son is in 4th grade and loves going to Mathnasium Novato! He had struggled with math during distance learning and Mathnasium has caught him up. He wants to continue going, and because math is not a stressor for him any longer, we are able to spend more time at home with him on the other subjects that might be difficult.
