Sylvan of Park Ridge & Montvale, is a professional and safe environment. The location is clean, organized and it gives a “-my kid is in the right place-” feeling.
Managing staff as excellent. They are knowledgeable, quick to respond, willing to make accommodations for the students and their families. My son has been attending Sylvan of Park Ridge & Montvale for about a month now, and he loves this place. My senior had a good experience with Sylvan. She felt more prepared for the ACT. I really appreciated the flexibility offered as a teenager’s schedule can get hectic. I also liked the small group and individual attention offered for instruction. The best news is that her ACT score improved. I highly recommend the Hudson Sylvan !

Sylvan has done amazing work with my son and his reading. He is dyslexic and dysgraphic so reading and writing are very difficult and everyone at Sylvan has been wonderful with him and he is always excited to go and leaves with a smile.

Danielle is exceptional at guiding parents and encouraging kids. We are so fortunate to have this team at Sylan close by and saw a great improvement in our kids Reading and Math skills.
This experience has been phenomenal. I saw significant increases in my child's confidence immediately, and it's played a major role in what he's able to retain. I'm seeing some improvement in his ability to try on his own as well which is a huge step in the right direction. Some children experience learned helplessness and are convinced they can't do the work. Confidence is the best remedy for that. The only reason I did not give Sylvan a solid 10 out of 10 is because I was hoping to use this as a supplement to homeschooling. They offer daytime hours during the summer but not the school year due to quality teachers returning to full-time positions. After my initial meeting, I had the understanding that if there was a big enough need, some limited day time hours could be made avaialble. That is likely not the case even with the retired teacher community. That said, I am extremely happy with the experience.
We have had a wonderful experience with Sylvan Learning Oakville. My son is currently in Grade 6 and attends Sylvan for reading and writing. The teachers are patient, encouraging, and genuinely take the time to understand his individual learning needs.
I really appreciate the personalized approach and the way they make learning engaging without putting pressure on him. He has become more confident in his reading and writing, and we are seeing a positive improvement in his overall approach to learning.
