Surprised at how clean you got our carpets

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the area rug technicians. They obviously know their stuff and their equipment is top rate. The rugs came back clean and with stains removed. However, I do have one concern. The corded fringe on the wool rug came undone on one half of the rug. The other end of the rug looks as it did. I was told that cord unraveling was a possibility. I was not prepared for the amount of unraveling or that it effect one end of the rug and not the other. Are there any fixes to this problem?
