Member Testimonials
I attended the Senior Fair there last week and thought the event was very informative.
I did workout in the gym area for my strength training.
This is not my go to gym as I do my program/classes at Coatesville & Lionville Y.
I was very impressed of all WC Y offers.
Swim lanes are usually available during the scheduled time.
Variety of classes and instructors.
Everything
zumba...great teacher. love the pool. but pickleball is problematic. same people play all the time and take the spaces from others. also there is no skill testing at west chester y. I'm elderly and its inconvenient to have to drive to another Y.
Especially enjoy deep water aqua classes BUT there need to be MORE scheduled! There is always a wait list - shows there is a need for more classes.
Could dive pool be open for people who’d like to exercise- life guard- require people to use float belt & no diving?
So may choices!
I have my children in 3 classes currently and enjoy watching them engaged and excited!!!!
I love the group classes. I like the scheduling app. The flexible times. And the instructors are amazing.
They are geared to all ages
I live aqua fit deep, but the class is always too crowded
There are numerous programs and activities for all ages and abilities.
Easy to register and always new ideas and programs available.
The branch has a wide variety of programs and offerings. We use the pool. take classes. use a trainer, and use Egym. The people are friendly and there's no judfement.
My kids love swimming and Y Camp
Everything
I do yoga, pilates and egym - all of which I enjoy. Yoga and pilates are big classes, for which one has to remember to reserve a place 2 days ahead of time! If you happen to have a dr's appt or something during the early sign-up time, you're out of luck. It's often filled well ahead of the class, so it's hard to be consistent in your workout. Can't we move these classes upstairs to a larger room? Mind/Body room is now too small for the demand. Love my instructor Jane Fenicle - so do lots of others, obviously.
Egym is useful and effective; I have the luxury of being able to go later in the morning when there usually isn't a line.
I do enjoy the Y and appreciate your efforts to bring a range of classes to members.
The variety of programs and activities is tremendous. Employees and staff members are kind, helpful and caring. It is a comfortable community to be a part of, as we continue to explore more and more of the options.

Perhaps better not to use my entire last name.
I did not check the box below for that reason.
My wife really enjoys the water aerobics classes. We both enjoy bingo. We are looking forward to getting involved in other areas (like pickleball) when time permits.
I like the variety of classes. Also, the women leading the classes I take are great. I would love to see a 30 minute step class offered.
I love step!!! Best class, and I come to every one that I can!!
I was at the West Chester YMCA for the first time last week. The indoor pool is really nice and it was very clean!! I swim at a lot of the Northern DE and Chester county YMCAs and I think this one, at least the pool area, is the nicest in the area.
Programs are plentiful. Staff is most supportive.
E-gym I plan on inquiring about.
Many of my friends are members as well and we can get together to play Pickelball.
Lots of choices….there’s something for everyone! The class instructors I’ve had are all professional and friendly.
The Child Care Program, the administrative staff and teachers.
The upstairs workout facilities.
The outdoor pool.
I LOVE aqua arthritis classes. I LOVE the warmth of the Recreation pool. It is so beneficial for healing my spinal stenosis.
Large variety of classes with excellent instructors
The pools!

I enjoy the bikes, and so I am glad to see there are more than last year.
