We swim here early mornings 4x a week, and love the warm & cheery greeting when we arrive. Swimmers in the competition pool always make room for us even though we are NOT fast swimmers! My husband works out in the wellness center also, and enjoys the camaraderie there. Thank you West Chester Y!

We left Lionville because we had a bad experience and were not welcome and had an amazing experience at West Chester, same day but huge difference

Egym water aerobics seniors

There is only one thing I don’t like. In January, February, March and half of April, I joined in pickle ball games without any problems. Then one day in late April some player told me that I had to register to play. I felt unwelcome.
I don’t know why all of a sudden after months of joining in an ad hoc fashion, this stranger became a bastion of regiment, a guard at the gate.

I only attend the Wednesday 12:00 Zumba class.
The instructor is great!

Instructors know my children's names, are welcoming and ensure that my children participate

My daughter is in the preschool swim 1/2 and her teacher Miss Kris is great. She is very friendly to my 3yo daughter and greets her with positivity and encouragement. She helps keep her focused in a nurturing way. Keeps her excited about trying new things and practicing what she has learned. She makes it easy for my daughter to trust her and learn from her.

I like how her class size is only 5 kids max. I feel like her attention span is taken into consideration because its not always easy for her age to wait for her turn again without losing focus in the pool.

I like that the lesson is offered on a weekday to allow for a calmer climate in the facilities, as opposed to busy evening or weekend hours.

Swim lessons with Mr. Sebastian have been great! My son has made good progress and is even excited to move on to the next level and keep swimming.

Fun interactive swim lessons

Since I only use the pool to lap swim, I will compliment you on this instead. I have been going to another Y due to work situation. But I was able to come to West Chester last week because of the Holy Week services. When I entered, Nick greeted me with a smile, my name and a hug. and told me it was so good to see me. THAT made my day, THAT does not happen at the other Y I visit.

We love the daycare and montesorri programs at the YMCA. The teachers are loving, caring, and very knowledgable. They welcome my children with a smile every day. The program includes tons of activities including swimming, yoga, zumba, Spanish, hiking, guest readers, and gymnastics. We love the Y!
