It's a happy place! The staff is personable and engaging, happy to help in whatever way you may need. The whole atmosphere is wonderful. It definitely feels like family!

I took the Silver Sneakers class with Jane, and I loved it. I think she is a great teacher.

I just want to give a special thank you to the West Chester Area YMCA for their unbelievable hard-work during this pandemic and allowing the YMCA to re-open to allow us members to continue to enjoy our wonderful YMCA experience. The YMCA has done a wonderful job, from social distancing equipment, to cleaning machines and everything else. Truly, these employees deserve a very, very special thank you. I am so grateful for everything everyone at the YMCA has been doing to keep us members safe, healthy and continuing to work out.

The Y camp is a blessing every summer. The staff is great and engaging. My son looks forward to going every day!

Well planned and community oriented

Would be great to have the lap pool open for the same hours as the facility. I understand the need to close it for cleaning mid-day and I'm all for that. I'm referring to the weekend schedule - currently the pool closes at noon while the facility closes at 3pm.

I presume this is an automated system generated without human interaction. Are you really asking for input during this time?! I know that this recent situation has been out of your control, and we're all doing the best we can to adjust to a bad situation. Probably not the best time to ask for input.
Before the shut down, Score - 9. Right now the score is very low..."better than nothing" but not much. It "stinks" literally and figuratively, not to be able to shower. To get undressed in my car and ride home soaking with sweat really "stinks". Staff have been great, as friendly as they always have. The upkeep on the facility is also v. good.
The pool hours are very restricted and dominated by the "masters" and the "marlins" making using the pool a tedious task of trying to fit in between masters taking 8 lanes for hours at a time and listening to Barry yelling at the kids.
I'm a 40 year member, but will likely put my membership back on hold if I have to wear a mask the whole time on the aerobic equipment. I don't want to pass out from my own CO2.
I know you're doing the best you can with the current situation, but you asked/sent me the survey. I know that once this covid craziness has subsided, we'll get back to normal and enjoy returning to the Y that I have enjoyed for lo these many years.

This YMCA is great! Clean and fun.

Classes and gym equipment. I also like your work feeding families at Thanksgiving and subsidizing memberships and summer programs for those who can’t afford it.

Really appreciate the outdoor pool lap swimming in the mornings. Great for us older members who wouldn't feel safe at the pool in the afternoons in this time of a scary virus.

The lifeguards are paying attention and very polite.

I enjoy the outdoor pool. Although I wish it were larger.
