I love the exercise instructors specifically, Tina, Kimberly, Regina and Barb.

The only complaints I have are the parking situation: I wish all those spots up front for older adults were for people with young kids. It’s very challenging for families to walk far in bad weather with multiple kids or babies and all their equipment. If an older adult is not handicapped then they are perfectly capable of walking a bit more.

The other issue are the showers. Often I see mold on the curtains so not very clean looking.

I like that there are a variety of activities and classes which keeps things from getting boring. The Y offers something for everyone in my family. I like the staff, everyone knows you by your name. I am currently working with some of your trainers/instructors in classes. Since the past year I have become stronger, and more confident in my fitness abilities thanks to these amazing people.

Facilities are amazing! Very clean.

The yoga classes helped me adapt to a stressful tine in my life. The exercise room has everything I need to get and stay fit without waiting. The steam room allows me to sweat out toxic chemicals that we all are exposed to and can accumulate in the subcutaneous fat. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its great to see all of the happy kids that utilise the facility

Easy to access, reasonable member's fees and up to date equipment. What I don't like is the locker situation in the gym where the padlocks are old and many not easily functional so I have a choice of leaving my purse in the car which you advise against due to thieves in the parking lot or having to go back home to pick it up if I need it after I leave the facility. Seems like this could be easily remedied with a small expenditure to update the padlocks. Thanks, Name removed

The staff is friendly/helpful, there are plenty of classes and activities, and the summer camp for kids is the best!

The staff, especially the lifeguards and Helen Flanders and front desk greeters are all class people and good representatives of the Y.

I love the hours, sometimes it's most convenient for me to come later in the evening so I'm happy that you're open until 10 during the week.
Although I like a salt pool best, your lap pool is not overly chlorinated. That cuts down on my itchiness afterwards.
Enjoy the sauna after swimming, especially on cold days.
The cardio equipment is maintained, the heart rate monitors work
Parking is easy.
In the summer, nothing beats the 50 meter outdoor lap pool!

Courteous staff, lots of healthy activities for all members of the family.

We love UMLY CELC! Some great changes have been implemented over the past two years. Our daughter is thriving in the pre-K room. She loves all the exploration, hands on learning, creative play, and STEAM activities that have been embedded in the curriculum. Additionally, we love the music, nature, and gym specials the kids have each week. The new, larger classroom space is very nice and will get the kids ready for Kindergarten. However, I'm wondering if each "color team" could have their own smaller classroom space for small group/quiet activities. Overall, we're very happy with the CELC at UMLY.
