I only interact with a few staff members, but they are always helpful. The facility is always clean. The tennis staff is very supportive and excellent with the kids in their classes.

YMCA swim lessons are the best! In stage 4 my daughter is building stamina and learning proper stroke technique with a supportive instructor. Thank you for being an integral part of teaching this life skill.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Your Mini-Porpoise class is the best training yet that I’ve observed at UMLY. Not only is the instructor highly competent, but she cares deeply about each child reaching his/her potential.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Danielle (Yentz) and Vince (Miller) went above and beyond to make to ensure that after a negative experience, my son’s transition back to group swim lessons was seamless. They both joined in his first group lesson and worked with all of the kids as well as the coach for the whole 30-minute lesson. Talk about unexpected, and wholly appreciated!

The staff are great. Lots of equipment to use. I love the yoga and Pilates classes. The instructors are amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable!

The facilities are great and the staff is always friendly and accomodating. Costs are very fair.
I have raised 3 children to adulthood as they participated in summer camps and activities and I have been swimming at UMLY for over 20 years.It has also been my pleasure to donate to "send a kid to camp."

What do you like about your membership?

The UMLYMCA is one of my favorite places to spend time. Everyone is super helpful and kind. The child watch is an amazing aspect of membership - from days where you have to run to work or appointments, to days that you just need a break from the little ones! I also enjoy the diversity of members; you meet all different types of people, from all different walks of life, all with different hobbies and interests. Swim lessons have been awesome for my kids as well. I learned how to swim at the Y as a child growing up in Philadelphia, and I love that I am continuing the tradition with my kids. I also like all of the outreach that the Y supports and encourages (for example, the Christmas angels program). All in all, the UMLYMCA is a wholesome and nurturing place for my kids to spend time, so thank you for all that you do!

A variety of activities and several polls, lap swimming at all times, sauna, steam rooms , hot tub, work out room is great, long hours.
