I've been so impressed with camp this year! My girls always love Camp UMLY and I was hesitant that they'd be put off by the changes, but they're enjoying it just as much! I'm impressed with the health and safety measures taken by Y counselors and staff. I feel like my daughters are in very good hands. I'm also so glad they're getting the social interaction that they missed during the spring. My short "wish list" would be for swim lessons to take place, and that campers could swim outdoors. My girls have mentioned missing stage in the AM and PM, too, but the rest of the fun makes up for it!

Great activities for the kids plus swimming

Your Summer Camp programs have been great for my kids. Your councilors and directors are doing a great job considering the circumstances. Smiling, gracious, and courteous at pickup and dropoff. Kids come home happy and tired!

My kids love the summer camps and childcare. The froggy pool is great and so are the dance classes and swim lessons.

Safety and health protocols at camp to keep our kids safe and having fun.

Out 12 years old liked the tennis camp a lot. She liked the challenge and she liked the activities. Our 14 years old surprisingly liked the teen adventure camp. I’m not sure if all the activities but they mentioned marshmallow archery tag. I hope they got enough exercise even though it wasn’t sports based.

Well organized, following Covid-19 precautions diligently!

I appreciate the outdoor swim opportunities for lap swimmers. Making a reservation ensures that there will be a place when I arrive. However I have noticed that often not everyone who has reserved a place actually shows up.
I am glad they masks are required, and there is both an indoor and an outdoor entrance to the outdoor pool.

50 meter pool

Management of the swimming protocols and programs, especially the lap swimming, is done by professionals that know and understand this sport. This is rarity at many pools.

I appreciated the effort to get the 50-meter pool up and running and at the same time exercising appropriate safety measures. Thank you!

The tennis program for adults

Tennis center is awesome and tennis staff are very nice and helpful!

I’ve been playing tennis in the clinics and the pros have been so kind and patient with implementing new procedures. They are all upbeat and make us laugh on the courts.
It’s wonderful to hit that ball again!
