My child absolutely dreaded math to a point of concern. The anxiety was palpable and we were thinking about counselling, until we found Mathnasium. They came up with a plan and after a little while, my child actually enjoyed going. The staff are kind and patient and all in all, I would recommend that anyone give it a shot. It is not magic and not overnight.. It is a real time/real world solution for not just kids who want to do well, but also for kids who feel hopeless. We will be returning.

I believe that it is not true that people are born to be good or bad at math. It all comes down to a teacher Fortunately Mathnesium teaching style is another proof of that.
Students are being taught a fixed set of techniques to solve the problem at elementary school.
Mathnesium, on the contrary, teaches students thinking, logical steps and reasoning.
The content of the class is always explained very well and my son finds it really easy to understand.
Mathnesium is an excellent school with outstanding educators.
I truly recommend you choose Mathnesium for the quality of teaching and professional, friendly atmosphere.

All 3 of my children have experienced the benefits of Mathnasium. Including the learning techniques, proficiency, friendly and competent staff and of course the incredible managers and ownership team. They are a fantastic place that provides more benefits than I can mention. I was good at Math; but it was years ago and learning methods have changed. Mathnasium is always at the forefront and helps your kids reach their potential. I have recommended Mathnasium many, many times and will continue to do so. Two of my kids went into post secondary and my third is in the University application process. I am grateful for Mathnasium and their dedicated staff and management- Thankyou Sylvia and your great team.

My child who hated math LOVES coming here every week. The sense of autonomy over the work she completes continues to build up her confidence, and for the first time in a long time, she is actually sees math like any other subject in school, rather than one to avoid or hate.
Having her remain in the program all summer long has certainly given her the extra confidence she needs going into the next school year, but more importantly, she has so much fun in these sessions!
Mathnasium provided my son with the opportunity to be stimulated and challenged with math so that he didn’t lose his interest in school. He enjoyed going and was always proud of his accomplishments and ability to earn tickets for prizes.

Our 12 yr old daughter has been going here for awhile now and the difference even after a few months was HUGE! Her confidence is so much better and she cant wait to go to her sessions every week! I had first heard about Mathnasiam through our school and again with our neighbours who enrolled their children. This past semester my son was learning division but by the time they reached 3 digits the teacher was out of time to further review. What happens now to all those students who didn’t catch on or who didn’t completely understand. After Covid and all the home schooling there are many kids that are falling behind but many parents don’t actually know by how far. In meeting with Sylvia during my initial consultation and discussing my concerns about our public schools curriculum after home schooling due to covid, we had a wonderful conversation. She was very helpful, real and understood where I was coming from as a parent in advocating for my sons math educational needs. My son loves going it is never a struggle to get him out the door to go. The program is fantastic as they have many incentives and truly take the time to understand your child needs and from their learning perspective.
If your thinking of joining Mathnasium for your child, it’s definitely the right thing to do.

The wonderful team at Mathnasium Langley is so supportive and knowledgeable. All three of my kids have started with Mathnasium in 2015 and continue through Grade 12. It has made such a difference. My eldest daughter is a college graduate with honours, my son finished his first year at University including mathematics and chemistry and he made the Dean's List for academic achievement. My youngest is in grade 11 and currently has a B. All of them were behind and struggling in Math and even though I was excellent in math way back when ... it has been too long and there is no way I could teach them this math. The Mathnasium system works! They find where the holes in learning are and then proceed to fix them and continually revisit all areas so Math becomes something they no longer dread but instead l may even look forward to. Dr. Sylvia and her team are there to cut through the jungle of worry and fear and chart a path towards success for each of your children. It takes dedication and diligence; but, I have told so many parents about Mathnasium and its benefits and every one of them has told me they are incredibly grateful and so pleased with the results. Mathnasium is one of the best education decisions I ever made for my three kids.
My son in Grade 7 has had great progress and is filling in all the missing skills from earlier years. He is becoming much more confident and quicker with his home work and is progressing impressively well.
