I love all the class variety and the instructors are the best!
I like the lazy river the best out of all the local YMCA's. We used the steam room, lazy river, and hot tub, along with the exercise equipment.
Close to my house, and offers a wide variety of workout options.
It is close to home. It has all the things we want for our family, and I like that there are things for kids. Staff is friendly.
Overall, a great place. Two things to relook: 1. the men's bathroom shower stalls do need to be scrubbed down on a regular basis. Not real happy with the aquatic area shutting down in the afternoon for cleaning. The cleaning is needed, but the length of time???

The staff—management, teachers, and volunteers—model commitment to making this YMCA a wonderful experience for all. It translates into a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance Have watched staff at all levels picking up any bits of litter, pitching in with cleaning, going the extra mile for members and visitors. Staff seem proud of where they work. Members are treated with curtesy and a commitment to a satisfactory resolution to questions, requests, problems. And programming is creative and continually evolving, ensuring something, lots of somethings, for every interest and stage in life.

Platte County Community Center South is really a good place and unique for people of all ages to pass time and workout whatever they want as a calm and a clean place supplied with so sophisticated equipment in addition to a friendly staff. I see everything in this community center comfortable and unique.
