Easy to access, lots of options for exercise
The weights layout is nice...muscle heads separated from casual lifters. Steam room is much improved and short cycle time keeps room at ideal state even when the door opens and shuts.

I’m a very sporadic gym user, but I like the Parkville Y when I do use one. I walk on a treadmill and around the track. I’d like to use a couple machines but haven’t asked for someone to help me with those yet.
When it was too hot to walk outside in the summer I really enjoyed the water fitness classes.
Activities & cleanliness
The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and there are a variety of classes and programs to meet varied needs. The facility itself could use an update on rugs, equipment and layout.

There are lots of activities fo reveryone. The machines are maintained. The facility is clean.
The staff and the members at the YMCA and great people to be around and are very friendly.

The gym, the pool, the time which opens @5:00 am, the people who works there and work out there.
