New machines, very clean, great place to hang!
I am a tax-paying home owner in Platte City and just moved here about 4 months ago with the understanding that the people here are far more friendly than in the state I moved from. And that Veterans were afforded the respect and considerations they certainly deserve. I would hope your policies and front desk staff support this sort of agenda.
Friendliness of staff. The facility is cleaner than one of my doctor’s office! Kudos to the dark haired lady who cleans! She is a very hard worker!
The trainers and class leaders are excellent and knowledgeable. The facility is kept very clean and they have a large variety of classes.

I like using the steam room and hot tub. Things have really improved since whomever is managing the steam room now has it cycling nicely. Pool is always at a nice temperature. New weight machines are nice.

It a clean, friendly community center
My basketball buddies and I wanted a new place to play basketball. We've been going to the NKC Y for almost 20 years and decided a change was necessary. Staff is friendly and not many others come up here. Our group plays as much as we can without interruption and has been great. The facility is always clean and so we've been coming up here for 3 weeks or so and will now continue every Saturday.

I really enjoy the exercise classes.
The lazy river therapy pool is life-changing. I used to go to the one in Parkville, but it's much smaller and they had trouble keeping lifeguards there. I appreciate that this location puts a priority on lifeguards because lots of us depend on this for physical therapy. I am just starting to use the weight machines, but I know they will help me continue to improve my health.
I like the nice people at the Platte County Y and the very clean well kept condition of the facilities.

The Y continues to have exercise opportunities for all age groups from very young to senior adults. Even within some of the classes instructors push you to do you best yet give suggestions on different ways to do the exercise at your own level of fitness. The Y is a real community center allowing bonds to be created, and supporting community involvement through things like blood drives, senior services day, and training youngsters how to swim. I use my Y membership and will continue to do so!
Everyone was friendly and explained to me everything that was offered. Also made me feel welcome and was ready to answer any of my questions.
