What does the Y do really well?

The Y does a great job of making everyone feel welcome, no matter your fitness level. When I started my weightloss journey I was very apprehensive about the exercise component. But The Y is a judgement-free zone, with a variety of members. I feel accepted and encouraged to be my best self at my own pace.

Lots of classes free to members, nice indoor walking/running track, a great diversity of people. No matter your size, shape, age, or fitness level, you won't feel out of place working out at the Y.

the facility is always clean and everyone is cheerful and seems to care if we come and how we
are doing!

all of the exercises are explained well and the instructors don't seem to mind if you ask
an additional questions (once in a while)

I ENJOY WALKING IN THE RIVER WALK. i ALSO LIKE IT THAT THE CLASSES ARE DIFFERENT EACH DAY. IT IS GOOD FOR PEOPLE THAT CAN'T GO A CERTAIN TIME.

THERE SEEM TO BE CLASSES FOR ALL AGES, SENIOR AND CHILDREN.

THE RECEPTION DESK IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is great and so is the excercise area.

YMCA is he total package offering more than just a gym. Ymca has an indoor track, swimming pool and offers Bitty Sports for my kids for free for members!

What does the Y do really well?

The facilities are well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is friendly, which certainly is a reflection on the staff. I'm looking forward to the renovations.
