Cleaning facility
I have loved having Kate Cookson do the interval class the past few weeks. More of her and of that kind of class please, even if you have it by other instructors. Really focused on creating a lot of variety and gradually advancing moves to greater and greater degrees of difficulty in ways that minimize risk of injury. Lots of core and stabilizer muscles. That has been great.
Platte county South Y offers a lot of variety in their classes and I like that, too. NKC Y doesn't have quite the variety but hope that changes after the new space is finished.
NKC Y has a really nice "climate" in that it is very friendly.
I like the weight room nad the exercise machines and I really use the indoor walking track.
Provide a variety of program and at least one of meets my needs

The application process is really easy and fast. It is especially economical for seniors and to know that you can go to any YMCA is an added benefit. I joined at the Northland Y and mainly go to the Parkville Y. I've met lots of nice people and enjoy myself each time I go.
Coach Castillo was amazing with the kids! I loved having my 8 year old participate in soccer with the Y.
Likeable people! Love all the new updates that are coming. This is not like any Y I have ever been to. It's a whole new mind set.

The people that work there are very helpful and upbeat and friendly. The trainers are awesome and the Y is awesome!
