Youth football is well organized with patient coaches. The cost is worth it for the many practices and real games with refs!

Providing fitness activities and programs for all ages
We did recreational soccer at the 5-6 yr old level. I like how the refs explain the infraction to the kids when they blow the whistle.
Clean and very monitored Zero Tolerance is great.
You have every thing you would want in a gym
Very responsive. Strong administration. Organized. I travel all over the country and I am able to workout at any YMCA. Good values. Great communication. Provides great programs for youth, e.g. camps, sports, kids night, etc. YMCA in Kansas City is affordable....YMCA in Haverford/Philly is too expensive. Supports coaches and provides equipment.

The Y has great facilities at the North Kansas City location and a reasonably friendly staff. That's why I choose it.
What it doesn't do well is offer sensible rates for college students. I have considered canceling my membership as I am a student at UMKC and have access to everything the Y offers and its included with my tuition. I wish you still offered a student discount as I do not have near the time I have had in the past. I may cancel my membership because I have used my gym membership probably 4 times this last semester. Please consider bringing back student discounts for college students. I'm having a hard time justifying $50+ a month.
In the past the Y did offer student discounts. These discounts develop life long patrons of the Y like me... The long term gain from a reduced student rate will certainly pay off in revenues for the long term. If there is a Y in my community I'm going to go there first just because of my familiarity with the Y from being a student.
It's certainly something I think you folks should reconsider and re-introduce. Its easy to confirm if someone is a student.
