I am very pleased with the program thus far. My child has only been attending for a month, but she loves to go. She always has a positive experience and gets rewards when she completes
a unit. So, she is positively motivated.
Both my children are recently new to mathnasium and I think are getting a lot our of it.
My only recommendation is that it stay open until 8 as it is difficult for families with two working parents to get the children there early enough.
the other recommendation is perhaps more balance between the lesson plan and help with homework. Sometimes my younger child needs more help with the homework.
I think this is an excellent program so far and highly recommend it.
Our daughter definitely benefited from the extra math learning experience. Her math grades on homework assignments and tests resulted in her obtaining an A grade for the quarter. In addition, her confidence is high and that is a huge plus.

My daughter Elizabeth and I were a little hesitant on going into Mathnasium since we’d tried different math programs and camps before, but we couldn’t be more happy that we did. Elizabeth has been learning so much at such a fast pace, with all of her instructors being incredibly attentive and fun. She even gets little prizes for progress throughout the given math levels. We love Mathnasium!

Jim and his team of math tutors do a wonderful job of assessing students' abilities and honing their instruction to improve any areas of need. My son always speaks positive of the tutors and how they interact with him. I've never seen or heard of a bad experience when visiting the Lorton, VA Mathnasium location.

My son is so much more confident in his Math skills after receiving tutoring 3-4 x’s a week at Mathnasium. He has gone from D’s and F’s to B’s and now even A’s. He is grasping the concepts better in Algebra and getting the extra help he needs every week. When he gets stuck on a concept or needs extra help he now asks his tutors and they explain it in clear, concise detail. Everyone is so kind and helpful there. I would recommend Mathnasium to anyone!
