My kids enjoy and in fact look forward to coming to Mathnasium. The tutors are attentive, engage kids and give feedback. We’ve noticed considerable progress the kids are making and their increased confidence in tackling challenging math problems. Andrew is an excellent director and has increased the available hours and activities that promote learning, e.g. hosting MathKangaroo. We hope Math Olympiad could happen sometime in the future.
My 6th grader has been attending for just over a year. We have been so happy with the math support she's getting and how its helping to fill the gaps of what she's not understanding during class at school. The staff at Mathnasium will add review sheets before a test which is a great study aide. After sitting down and discussing her school curriculum, they are also helping to ensure her Mathnasium binder is aligned as closely as possible with her school lessons. I 100% recommend La Jolla Mathnasium to anyone who is looking for a boost in math!

The program at Mathnasium helps students who struggle with common core concepts. They are able to build foundational concepts in a way that young students are able to grasp. We are grateful for the work they’ve done with our 3 children who are now going into sixth grade and fifth grade. I would highly recommend checking out the program and speaking with the staff.
