Our son continues to enjoy going to Mathnasium La Jolla. He is getting more confident in his math skills and it gives him a chance to learn math in a supportive environment. Without Mathnasium, I think he would be very behind at school, where they would not be able to give him enough attention and classroom sizes are so large. It really helps to have this supplemental program to keep his skills on par or ahead.

Fun, friendly, and effective.
Roxy likes how the instructors guide her through difficult questions by giving her the steps and showing the fastest route to a solution. She also likes how friendly the instructors are. She never feels bad about her work and comes out better each time. She really likes how she’s rewarded for hard work and progress. A great life lesson!

My son counts the days to go to Mathnasium. He learns and has fun at this place. Since he started attending this program, he has improved a lot his numerical fluency, and he is now able to solve many of the problems only using mental math. It is amazing to see how he improved his math skills.

Kudos to the Mathnasium La Jolla team for continuing to advance my son through math. He remains engaged and loves going to Mathnasium. We even try to max out the sessions per month and sometimes that means going 3 times a week, a Friday or a weekend and it’s never a struggle to get him to agree. We really find he is making progress and math homework at school is no longer a struggle.
My kids love going here. The staff is amazing, everybody here is polite and respectful and they actually make it fun via stamps and rewards which makes it fun for the kids as well. At the end of the day, the people and atmosphere make it so worth it.

Mathnasium has been game changing for my 10 year old son. The staff has taken great pride in helping to build his confidence and to get him caught up so that he is at grade level with his peers. I believe that with the staff support and their motivational and teaching style that my son will be ahead of grade level by the end of the school year. Hi, the general manager Todd is very proactive and checks in regularly with us to see how we are doing and gives us feedback on our child progress. The session availability is great. My daughter enjoys it and feels she is learning a lot. Her math grades have improved.

Our Twins Alexa and Aurora were behind in math due to the pandemic. They were in need of one one tutoring to help get caught up. We signed up for a year to assure they would be supported at the end of 3rd grade and all the way through 4th. The LaJolla location has been great with scheduling and support. The girls enjoy math now and are doing well.
I have seen a definite improvement in my kids with their math from nothing Mathnasium. I wish that there was more communication coming home to tell me what they’re learning and how they are doing with that subject matter. There should also be more options besides unlimited monthly like a pack of 10 or what have you
