Customer Testimonials
My kids are enjoying their learning experience with Jan and the staff
I have recommended Carmel Valley Mathnasium many times to family and friends. Jan and his team are professional and flexible with meeting the needs of my children. I feel like my children are really learning math with the goal of understanding it rather than for the sake of doing well on a test. My kids also enjoy going because of the terrific atmosphere Jan and the tutors create. Mathnasium has been a great part of my children’s overall education.
Excellent quality & very flexible scheduling !
My son’s teacher would often make remarks about how much extra time she would have to spend with him during Math time. But now, he is independent during that time and feels a sense of confidence. He has excelled beyond that grade level.
Great administrative support, friendly instructors, and convenient location. Most importantly, kids seem to getting more comfortable with math. We are very happy with Mathnasium.
My son doesn’t complain after sitting for an hour and a half of doing Math. You must be doing something right!
Mathnasium has been a great experience for my son. He feels more confident at school, & it shows in his grades. They know exactly how to teach math, and are extremely flexible & efficient with your schedule.
I so appreciate the flexibility mathnasium offers. The teachers are excellent too!

Mathnasium has been wonderful in improving my son’s math skills. Thank you.
I couldn't be more happy with out experience at Mathnasium. My daughter was struggling a little bit with things taught during our virtual school days and after a few months with 2x weekly visits not only has she completely caught up, she has surpassed things taught in her grade and moved to more advanced math! Thank you will never be enough.
Couldn’t be happier with it. Huge change in our child’s math confidence and performance. Jan is wonderful

We went to Mathansium Carmel Valley for years with our kids. I highly recommend it, as the teachers were very responsive and helpful to the kids. The environment was friendly, and my younger child even ranked going to Mathnasium as one of her favorite activities. Jan is so helpful and accommodating. Thank you for everything!

We are very happy with Carmel Valley Mathnasium. Jan goes above and beyond to answer any questions and concerns that we have about our child's math tutoring. This program has helped my daughter tremendously with understanding fundamental math concepts that she did not get while in school.
Jan and his team are great! Really accommodating and the process for kids works!
Great supplement for both my daughters' math skills!
Also, Jan is fantastic to work with and very accommodating to everyone's needs.
Summer math program was good.
We opted for Mathnasium instead of the usual summer workbooks this year. The online format twice weekly was a good option due to the Covid pandemic and saved us some driving time. The kids preferred having teachers available for knowledge check and to answer questions. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Scheduling was flexible. It was a positive experience all around.
My daughter usually dislikes math but she actually enjoys the tutoring. I like the fact it’s not just filling out worksheets but areas that are taught by the tutor as well as an individualized program.
Very professional and overall a great experience
