My daughter has really enjoyed Mathnasium. It has both introduced concepts and reinforced them which was and has been extraordinarily beneficial. Our daughter likes math for the first time in her life. The teachers are fantastic. Jan is lovely and a total joy to work with so all in all, we’ve been thrilled with the experience.
I really like Mathnasium and so do my kids but I would like there to be more communication with the parents and some sort of progress report along the way so we understand how our child is doing.

I was waiting until now when my daughter had received her SAT score to write this review. We are really sastified with her math result because she got almost perfect score in the first time taking SAT test. This result is counting by going everyday in 2 months to Mathnasium of Carmel Valley, taking the SAT preparation course, and having a lot of efforts. In the 2 months in the Mathnasium, my daughter said the tutors are very kinds and helpful, and they helped her a lot to improve her math skill. Besides, I want to thank to Jan, the owner of the center, because he was very nice and flexible with the changes schedule of my daughter. I recomend the center to anyone need to improve the math skill.

Everyone in the institute including Alvin, Athena, Sylvia(if i am not wrong) and Jan, are extremely accommodating, helpful and nurturing.
Prior to beginning her summer sessions at Mathnasium our daughter was very apprehensive and lacking confidence in math. Since completing just 9 sessions her enthusiasm and confidence have increased significantly. Often she asks if she can go to multiple sessions in the week. She shared that while some of the content is hard, the tutors are patient, understanding, and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend Mathnasium for any parent looking to get their child excited about math.

I have recommended Carmel Valley Mathnasium many times to family and friends. Jan and his team are professional and flexible with meeting the needs of my children. I feel like my children are really learning math with the goal of understanding it rather than for the sake of doing well on a test. My kids also enjoy going because of the terrific atmosphere Jan and the tutors create. Mathnasium has been a great part of my children’s overall education.

My son’s teacher would often make remarks about how much extra time she would have to spend with him during Math time. But now, he is independent during that time and feels a sense of confidence. He has excelled beyond that grade level.

I couldn't be more happy with out experience at Mathnasium. My daughter was struggling a little bit with things taught during our virtual school days and after a few months with 2x weekly visits not only has she completely caught up, she has surpassed things taught in her grade and moved to more advanced math!
