The staff at the Meridian location are great and they have been working hard in transitioning everyone to on-line tutoring under the current circumstances.
Our son has struggled with math skills comprehension his entire academic career. Since he has been at Mathnasium, he has increased his knowledge more in a few months than he did in most the years of primary and secondary education. The fact that they focus on the concepts he struggles with before moving on has given him a more substantial foundation to build on. We are all happy with the progress he is making, especially him. He has more confidence facing the difficult math concepts now.
I have 3 grandkids in the program. They LOVE going and after 2 hours they often chase me back to my car saying "not yet Nana" "wait in the parking lot".

My daughter really struggled with math all the way through the 7th Grade, and she got scared when I told her I’m signing her up for Mathnasium this past summer. Before Mathnasium my daughter hated math because she was struggling so much. After her first session she left feeling confident for the first time and each time after her confidence grew. We have only been with Mathnasium for a month but she already have come leaps and bounds.
Wonderful experience from the day I first walked in. My son loved going and even requested to go when it wasn’t in our plans for that day. His math skills became sharper after attending a few sessions and he became more confident. The instructors are all wonderful and truly have a heart to help the students. This place is amazing!

Awesome way to teaching math
We appreciate the flexible times for our child to use the center. It helps with sports and other events in our schedule. Our daughter is catching up and building confidence with her math skills. It has completely eliminated the struggles and frustrations with homework.
My two children in your program went from frustrated and upset about "math," to eager and motivated to advance their math skills.
Tutors are excellent. Their professionalism & attention to my daughter's specific mathematical shortcomings is what makes this program a success by my estimation. The program itself zero's in on where work is needed & the instructors help bridge the gap between her understanding & where she needs to be for mastery- subject by subject.
Kids can sometimes detract from my children's focus. Discipline of certain disruptive children is a tough thing to enforce in the classroom but Mathnasium has done a pretty good job of trying to address any issues that I might notice (only a few have cropped up).

Re Content: However, I wish I had more interaction & ability to track w/ kid's progress. e.g. what they're ACTUALLY working on so I can equate their math learning to everyday examples that come up (recipes, navigation, building projects, $ transactions, telling time, etc)
Hours in summertime are limited. But perhaps the online tutor option will open up possibilities...
Overall a good experience.
I didn’t realize how far behind my son was in math fluency. He just started 6th grade and was at a 45% fluency at a 2nd grade level. The public school systems downfall on leave no child behind! They push them through without making sure each child has a solid foundation! My son has already worked up to 75% fluency at that same grade level in 2 months. I’m confident that Mathnasium is giving him that solid foundation to build on and he is more confident in himself as well!
