I just want to send a special thank you to Robert and Roy for creating such a positive environment for both of my children to build their math foundation. It's really hard after a full structured day of school to add one more hour of math, but the McLean center has found a balance which makes the experience enjoyable and productive. From the first day, Robert has made us feel like he is invested in guiding our children. As a teacher myself, I know that children learn best when they feel comfortable and secure enough to take a risk. I believe this is especially true when it comes to math, which many children view as being right or wrong. But Robert has demonstrated multiple strategic ways of thinking, which has encouraged the students to think about math differently. He is a great asset to Mathnasium. Without his calm and positive nature I think it would be a greater challenge to sell the experience to my children. I want to send a big THANK YOU to the guys running the McLean center. It feels like you put our children first, and that is what keeps us coming. THANK YOU!!!

It is a great place to learn math.
Our kids are loving mathnasium and are happy to go each week. I would say the only comment I have is maybe the need to open another location in the McLean/North Arlington area as this one can get very crowded.
Very considerate staff and even if my daughter is not happy about going at first, she is always happy when i pick her up. I appreciate the staff helping her with math.

I feel like Robert really understands each kids skills and abilities and knows exactly what they need. He is also very approachable and the kids feel very comfortable around him!!!

Our son loves going to mathnasium! He loves Math and loves learning new math concepts.
The management onsite at the center and instructors are great! The business side is very concerning. If it were not for the instructors and Robert, we would hesitate to recommend to others. Parents should not be nickeled and dimes and tricked to extend their contracts while under the initial 30 day contract period.

Our girls are enjoying the program. The manager is friendly and knowledgeable. We have not been going long enough to see great gains, but we are optimistic based on our children's' enthusiasm.
We had a great experience there! Robert, the director there, was very attentive, followed through on requests, questions, and very accommodating, not to mention just very cordial and friendly. Both my children enjoy going to Mathinasium, it’s been over a year and I see their progress and confidence build in doing their work at school and always eager to attend their class at Mathinasium.
Terrific local resource for math tutoring. My daughter enjoys it and is learning a lot every time she goes. They provide customized curriculum for her to work through and it's making a big difference in her core understanding and math abilities.

It has made a huge change in my child's love and interest in math now. The positive reinforcement is really great as well.
There have been many visible improvements with the staffing and overall calmness at the center since my last review. Both Robert and Roy are very responsive and were aware of changes that needed to be made. I speak with both regularly, and I have expressed that anything above a 3 or 4 student to 1 teacher ratio is not worth my money or time. At that point, I would just hire a private tutor. The recent staff hiring has made a drastic improvement in my children's success at the center.
