It provides my son a structured environment to study math. Very pleased with the progress he has made so far.
Very positive experience so far with summer instruction for our son. Keeps his head in the game, and he is okay with going, its not been big fight etc. Mclean has been very accommodating re scheduling issue that come up in the summer.
My son has been attending Mathnasium for over two years now. It has been very helpful - in the beginning it offered him enrichment when math was boring at school. Now that math is more challenging in the upper grades, they help him with his homework during the school year and keep him engaged and prevent learning loss in the summer. Plus in the summer, they are allowed to play math games after their normal session which he loves! A great program!

Mathnasium has allowed my children to cover math concepts/materials to stay ahead of material covered during the school year. They have been flexible with scheduling and accommodating to my children's needs and I would recommend Mathnasium without reservation.

Both of my children have been enrolled at Mathnasium at some point, one who finished the curriculum, and have used it to get ahead and learn math concepts ahead of when they learned the topic at school. Pre-pandemic, we enjoyed the "gym-like" scheduling where the membership allowed drop in sessions. Post-pandemic, the scheduling is not as flexible, however, we appreciate the number of sessions that are available and the accommodations the staff make to ensure that my children are able to get the sessions they need. I would recommend Mathnasium for anyone who wants to get ahead, as well as for those who want to reinforce math topics learned at school.

My daughter Audrey was struggling in math after the pandemic. Despite being a hard-working and attentive student she was well below grade level in math, and was pretty demoralized after getting bad grades in school. Mathnasium made it fun and she looked forward to going each time. Their program met her at her level so she could experience success and build upon her knowledge. She's now doing great and making great grades both in class and on the state standardized tests. Thank you Mathnasium!

An excellent place for kids growth in math.
We signed up our kids for Mathnasium in 2020 and it's one of the best decisions ever, giving them access to a different kind of learning how to love Math. The curriculum is excellent and one that helps lay a strong foundation. Two years of consistently working on Mathnasium's curriculum has helped them to be at an advanced Math level. It wouldn't have been possible without this curriculum and the tutors. The staff has been consistent in providing feedback on the progress and areas of improvement. We're proud to say that because of Mathnasium our kids are very advanced in their Math ability, and one of them has been selected for AAP-Level 4. This achievement would not have happened without the McLean Mathnasium staff. We love Mathnasium's extraordinarily well-prepared and well-thought-of curriculum.
I think this branch has succeeded at making math fun and creating a type of social club centered around math. My son is no longer afraid of math and dare I say embracing it.
My son has developed so much confidence in his math skills. This has pushed him from having IEP services to no longer needing specialized instruction. I am very satisified and considering this as a tutor option for my high schooler if he ever has trouble with advancing math classes.
My eldest when through the entire Mathnasium curriculum which enabled her to stay ahead of her math classes throughout elementary, middle, and high school years. My youngest is now going through the program, and almost done, and has also been able to stay ahead of her math classes as well. The staff at McLean have been very accommodating to both of my kids needs and I would recommend Mathnasium without hesitation.
