Both of my children have been enrolled at Mathnasium at some point, one who finished the curriculum, and have used it to get ahead and learn math concepts ahead of when they learned the topic at school. Pre-pandemic, we enjoyed the "gym-like" scheduling where the membership allowed drop in sessions. Post-pandemic, the scheduling is not as flexible, however, we appreciate the number of sessions that are available and the accommodations the staff make to ensure that my children are able to get the sessions they need. I would recommend Mathnasium for anyone who wants to get ahead, as well as for those who want to reinforce math topics learned at school.

My daughter Audrey was struggling in math after the pandemic. Despite being a hard-working and attentive student she was well below grade level in math, and was pretty demoralized after getting bad grades in school. Mathnasium made it fun and she looked forward to going each time. Their program met her at her level so she could experience success and build upon her knowledge. An excellent place for kids growth in math.
We signed up our kids for Mathnasium in 2020 and it's one of the best decisions ever, giving them access to a different kind of learning how to love Math. The curriculum is excellent and one that helps lay a strong foundation. Two years of consistently working on Mathnasium's curriculum has helped them to be at an advanced Math level. It wouldn't have been possible without this curriculum and the tutors. The staff has been consistent in providing feedback on the progress and areas of improvement. We're proud to say that because of Mathnasium our kids are very advanced in their Math ability, and one of them has been selected for AAP-Level 4. This achievement would not have happened without the McLean Mathnasium staff. We love Mathnasium's extraordinarily well-prepared and well-thought-of curriculum.
I think this branch has succeeded at making math fun and creating a type of social club centered around math. My son is no longer afraid of math and dare I say embracing it.
My son has developed so much confidence in his math skills. This has pushed him from having IEP services to no longer needing specialized instruction. I am very satisified and considering this as a tutor option for my high schooler if he ever has trouble with advancing math classes.

Before she hated math, and now she's excited to go to Mathnasium. The incentive structure is brilliant. We are so grateful for Mathnasium!
We really enjoyed Mathnasium. It really helped our son with his transition from virtual back to school and prepared him for middle school.

Bottom line: our children would not be in Honors Math but for Mathnasium. We set that goal for them when we joined, and they dove right in to the material and made it. In addition, they have both developed a love of math through the Mathnasium process. They look roars to every session days in advance and no matter how nice it is outside or ow tempting it is to play video games, when we say “time to go to Mathnasium” they run out the door with smiles on their faces and race to the car.
McLean Mathnasium's professional staff really helped my second grader to catch up and excel in math, improving her confidence along the way!

Mathnasium has been a great asset to our family. The program is helping our daughter make leaps in math and she is enjoying the process. There is never a session she isn’t excited to go to. I appreciate the communication at the end of her units. I appreciate that she can get help on assignments when she is struggling at school. Just a great great program that is thoughtful and helpful.
The one downfall is some of the tutors. It’s important for my daughter to feel some connection with her tutors. Sometimes they hardly talk with her. But the ones that take the time to ask about her day or chat while working really make her session so much better. It’s makes all the difference to connect with the students.

My daughter enjoys going to Mathnasium and has become much more confident in her math skills. The incentives provided to motivate the kids also helps them work a bit harder in achieving their intended goals for the day! Good job in making learning fun!
Our kids have made so many strides in Math since beginning at Mathnasium. It has been such a great investment for our family.
Terrific teachers and center team. Kids are more confident now in math and enjoying learning. I’d give a 10 but the sign up limitations of 3 weeks is annoying and close to a dealbreaker as a parent. We have to switch our family schedule if we don’t get the regular slot we want.

I was looking for a safe and caring place for my kids, a place where the staff had material and subject knowledge to support children in their learning journey. I found all of those qualities at Mathnasium! My kids come home excited after spending an hour doing math, how great is that!

Our son has just started going 3 times a week and is enjoying the program. He has noticeably improved in his 6th grade math class. He told me just this week that he was able to resolve a problem that others in the class weren’t because of how Mathnasium had taught him to work out and think about math problems. Thank you!
Our only issue is with the speed of the scheduling website.
Other than that we are very happy with our kid's progress!
