The sculpt classes
clean studio and great instructor
Accessible, clean, tidy and always in great shape! Love the personnel / staff, too!
Now that the new Grant schedule has been in place for a couple of weeks, I thought I would offer a few comments. I have been practicing at the Grant Studio since 2005 and have personally witnessed the huge CPY growth through the years. Despite the growth, CPY has managed to continue to provide an authentic yoga experience. However, I believe this is changing because of the new schedule that has only 15 minutes between classes for the following reasons.
1. The yoga studio is a sacred space. The time before class and the time after class honor this by allowing some time to transition from the outside world to the studio and within yourself. Shortening the time between classes impedes this transition.
2. The time before and after class is a time for community interaction. The instructors often discuss and promote the benefits of community. Less time between classes obviously means less time to interact with one and other in the sacred studio space.
3. Years ago, I took to heart many a teacher’s advice that savasana was the most important pose of the class. And, like many advanced practitioners, I stay in savasana through and after the goodbye namaste. Those 5-10 minutes afterward feed my soul as much as anything that happened during the vinyasa. Now, as soon as class is over, the lights come up, the music changes, the cleaners start cleaning, and the new students pour in for the next class. No more extended savasana. In fact, I find myself becoming anxious and distracted when I begin savasana. It’s not the respite that it used to be and that upsets me.
4. Thirty minutes between classes provided enough time for the locker room to clear out after class before the students for the next class came in. Now there is bumping and stumbling as the comers and goers mingle. I can’t even imagine what it must be like in the women’s locker room.
5. Thirty minutes used to provide enough time for the dank of one class to mostly dissipate before the start of another. That doesn’t happen with 15 minute intervals.
I appreciate the opportunity to provide this feedback, and hope that management will consider returning to a schedule with 30 minutes between classes – especially during the more crowed late afternoon and evening classes.

Clean facility, great instructors, class variety, and variety of times
it was my first time practicing in a studio in 2 years due to a car accident. I was nervous and afraid. Your staff was so welcoming and my class with Matt was amazing. I am so happy to be back in the studio and loved it. First name removed Robinson
Had some really enthusiastic instructors that made it awesome, and were very friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff and killer yoga sessions!
Clean, inviting space. The studio at Grant street is so beautiful!
Classes offered are extremely versatile so there's something for everyone! They also have several to offer throughout the day so if you can't make one at 7 there's probably one you cn join at 7:30 or 8. The staff is so nice and helpful, whether it's the teacher or the person cleaning the floors. Love corepower yoga, especially Grant!
Positive energy of instructors
It was a challenging class. Very fluid flow and the teacher was attentive to the needs of the class offering modifications where neccesary.
I like the classes, the teachers, the choices and the location. I think a 15 minute turn-around with classes is tight with the locker room. Mike K is so popular it was over-crowded Tu. BUT I would do it again.
I love the sculpt instructors at the Grant studio. They keep the classes challenging and enjoyable!
I love Corepower and am a raging fan of the process, the instructors, the community and the studio. I lost 25 pounds after joining CorePower and feel great about myself both inside and out. I've brought multiple new members to the studio since joining in May 2016. Corepower love!
I love everything about the classes and instructors. I would maybe like to see a couple more c1/hot fusion classes on the schedule at Grant as sometimes I feel like mixing it up especially on the weekend and those classes are harder to come by. I'm also kind of intimidated to try sculpt, so maybe offering a sculpt 101 class (like a one time thing once a month) for people who are curious but wanting a little more info.
I really enjoyed the instructor and the studio was much nicer than I anticipated.
It's been so great so far!!
I like the convenience of many locations and the consistency of quality teachers.
Everyone we interacted with at this studio was friendly, cool, and genuinely interested in us having a good experience.
I love teachers and musics
Every class at CPY is always a great experience, and a good blend of physical and mental challenges. If I have friend in town I always try to take them to a class.
A small Grant-specific complaint though - I do like that tons of new classes were added, and so far it's only given me more options which is great. However I'll do everything I can to make Rebecca's Sunday morning sculpt class. It's usually a crowded class but since it was moved upstairs (smaller studio) it is now overcrowded. I know many of us come for her class specifically. Please move her class back downstairs into the bigger studio!
Variety of classes and lots of times
complete recharge
Spacious locker room and great instructors.
All of it !!!
The updated Grant schedule is not particularly 9-5 worker friendly! Please bring back the weekday 6:15 AM Sculpt classes!!!
I really like the new schedule with the addition of the early morning classes. This opens the schedule up for me tremendously! I have really enjoyed the support and enthusiasm of the instructors as I've started down the path of making my yoga practice a larger part of my life.
This was one of the best classes I have ever taken. I loved the Kundalini warm up. It was accessible to any skill level yet provided options for considerable challenge poses at the end. Concluded with chanting to welcome in the new year. A truly transformative experience!

clean studios, easy to navigate class schedule, interior design of the studios, close proximity to my house.
