My daughter felt confident going into the SAT from her tutoring at Mathnasium, and it was such a pleasure to hear her say that she knew how to do all the problems when she came out of taking the test. She felt deflated and upset the first time she took it- what an improvement!

My son enjoys his time at Mathnasium. He has liked every tutor as they all have been very accommodating and makes him feel comfortable. Since we enrolled our grandson in your program we have been "wowed" by the scheduling flexibility both on dates and on session lengths. Edward has been a wonderful instructor and Corbin's progress to date has been nothing short of spectacular. He came in woefully behind in his Algebra II class and after a month is caught up and it appears he will finish his work within the allowed timeframe. We will continue to bring him in thru the summer and fall to insure he does not stumble again.

All the instructors have been very accommodating to my schedule and needs.

As a military family, moving from state to state has left gaps in the children's education, but more significantly in math. Mathnasium has quickly identified the gaps, and has been working towards the children's conceptual understanding of missed math areas, which also aids in understanding current math concepts.

My daughter is in 12th grade and felt she was be too old to go to the center for tutoring but she is pretty much a straight A student and was getting a C in her math class. She just did not understand the math from how her teacher was teaching it so I said Mathnasium was worth a try. It has been great. The gentlemen who help her are so wonderful and really teach her at her level. After only a month she is getting 100's on her tests and has an A with a 94. It has been worth every penny. I am very pleased with the work they do at mathnasium. My child likes to go to mathnasium and she seems to be doing well there. My child's grades in math are better than last year so far since school started. I like the way they work on things in their binder and also will help check and correct homework and test that she has failed in school.

I came only one Saturday with my daughter and worked while she was with the tutor. I was impressed with two things: 1) the materials used and how math problems were presented, and 2) my daughter's enthusiasm. That is all I can say after a one-time visit. I would be interested in seeing more of the materials she uses.

She is in third grade enriched in Chesapeake and may not need this tutoring to succeed and make As in math. But if this improves her ability to do math and her enjoyment of math, then it is a worthy program. I have advised my undergraduate and Ph.D. students in political science, policy analysis and public administration to take more math for many years now and tell them that it is a key to admission to professional schools (law and medicine) as well as Ph.D. programs in several social science fields, as well as philosophy. So if this gets Maya more enthusiastic about math, that will be a bonus and a wonderful outcome.

After her first visit my daughter was so enthusiastic about what she had learned she requested more math problems to work in at home. Already her confidence in math has increased!

My granddaughter Tia's interest in math has escalated since she has been in this program. She has a positive disposition when it is time to attend and enjoys sharing her progress with me. She is excited about being challenged each time she is there. The tutors that have worked with her have been so effective with the review and introduction of math concepts. Tia has really enhanced her math skills. Thank you for this great program.

Great teacher and personal experience. I like their method of teaching, focusing on the student's weak areas and intermittent assessments.

They helped my 6th grade son pass the 7th grade SOL (6th grade Honors Math). They were willing to use the review packets I provided and check his completed homework. They provided the re-teaching his math teacher didn't have time to give during school. ALL the instructors were extremely patient and provided positive feedback during each session. My son had a better connection with some instructors than others, so the manager & head instructor worked diligently to set him up with those that seemed the best fit. Now that the SOLs are over, my son will go back and actually use the program the way it was intended... fill in his mathmatical gaps and make him a more successful math student.

In school, learning math is too rapid for many children. Mathnasium allows them to slow down and truly better understand the concepts.

Our daughter, who always had an aversion to math, now simply loves it! Thank you for making the learning experience fun for her.

My daughter has been attending for a month, and her grades have already improved! She has been better prepared for her test and pop quizzes...I am amazed with her progress. Her teacher has noticed the improvement also!
