Mathnasium Upper Westside has been an amazing experience. My second grade child was at risk of being held back. Because of her progress in math and her learning plan for summer she will advance to the 3rd grade. Kai and team have been supportive and responsive throughout the process. My daughter loves Mathnasium and enjoys math. She is more confident and progressing well. I love the structure and the individual attention with 1:1 tutoring. My child recently stated that sometimes she does not want to go to the sessions but when she gets there she is happy 😃. The main issue is that her brother goes to the park after school while she is at the center.
There are trades offs with time and cost however it has been well worth it. My goal was to build her confidence and help her to catch up in math. Mathnasium has been a great partner.

Over 18 months of Mathnasium lessons, we have seen a marked increase not only in our child's math skills, but also in confidence to make use of all available resources to solve challenging problems. Mathnasium is great for keeping kids on track over summer. The teachers are really good with kids and the administrators are responsive and detail-oriented. I never have a problem with scheduling or make-ups.

Our daughter has always struggled with math but now she is much more comfortable with it. She comes out of mathnasium class happy each time.

At 10 years old, my daughter has found new confidence in math. When she began at Mathnasium, her assessment for 4th grade work revealed that she had only known 70% of the work she should have known. After completing the 4th grade missing blocks, her new test revealed that she was at 98%.
She is so proud of herself and was very enthusiastic to begin her 5th grade work. She thinks big and is already thinking about 6th grade math, because she believes that by the time she is ready for 6 grade, she will have little difficulties in settling into the program.
Because of her experience with Mathnasium tutoring, math has become her favorite subject.
