We have referred several friends to Mathnasium, all seeking the same type of math support program that we value with Mathnasium. Based on my review of math programs in the area, there is nothing that can compete with Mathnasium's assessment and instruction style. Those interested should understand that while some kids may see rapid improvement in math skills upon starting the program, it may take others some time to build their math skill foundation. This is our third year with Mathnasium and we continue to see steady progress in our daughter's progress. Stick with it! If you sense that your child is plateauing or losing focus with the program, speak to the management, as they have lots of ideas! In our case we switched days of the week and session time with return of steady progress in skill building. Some times are busier than others at the center, which can affect your child's ability to focus on the material.

Excellent program which has instilled a true love of Math for my 2 girls and has helped them excel in Middle and High School Math. Super, skilled, organized and accommodating staff at the Amsterdam & 84thSt location !

I appreciate Mathnasium's comprehensive plan for teaching math K-12. I feel confidant that with this program, any gaps in my child's school math instruction are covered, and any areas where she might need further practice are reinforced. In areas where she is advanced, she is excited to be further challenged, rewarded, and encouraged for her work. I appreciate the flexibility in scheduling, so sickness or unexpected life events don't interfere with our lesson plans. I also appreciate the calm, good natured attitude of the group instructors, and the general positive vibe of the place.

Great teachers. Curriculum does not scare or bore our daughter.

We have been very impressed with the ongoing improvement by our two children from their participation in Mathnasium. They are always enthused to attend and have gained considerable confidence. My 10 year old's performance in school increased from average to one of the top in his class. His recent mid-term review identified him as demonstrating a mastery of math fundamentals for his grade level. We are so grateful for this program. LM

The staff are top notch; efficient, focused and professional and my kids loved coming to mathnasium and learned a lot. The only reason we are leaving is geographic and they my older son needs more application of concepts rather than the foundation.

Mathnasium provides amazing mathematical support for my 5th grade son. My son actually asked if he could go to classes at Mathnasium, because he learned so much from his teachers in 4th grade. The leadership team works closely to make sure that my son has a seamless experience, and is focused on building a solid foundation of mathematical skills. Such a valuable service in our community!

Our daughter has been going to Mathnasium for about 15 months. She loves to go. She feels much more confident in school and she enjoys math. Mathnasium is flexible and accommodating to our schedule and very responsive. After a year it was clear we had to sign up for another year.
