Mathnasium is great - the people are easy to work with and the the kids love it! Would just say that if kids bring homework instructors must make sure they get it done as parents expect it to be done when they take it. And it causes stress if they don'f finish as it is more to do when they get home!
My daughter just started with Mathnasium. I have noticed that she is starting to use some of the strategies she has learned there at home with her home work. She has told me recently "Mommy, you are getting your moneys worth with Mathnasium. I am learning a lot there". She still does not like math at school, but she seems to be ok with it at Mathnasium. So far so good!

My daughter truly looks forward to her Mathnasium classes. After every class, she can't wait to tell me what she has done. She loves the work, the instructors, and the atmosphere. What I appreciate most about Mathnasium is their staff. They are always super responsive and helpful. In a city and neighborhood where so many services for children are offered in tutoring, math and the like, I think what gives Mathnasium the competitive edge are their administrative staff.
It is a well run program that focuses on building math fluency without focusing on speed. A child can go as fast or as slow as they need to to build competency and skill!

The center is very well organized. The teachers are child-centered, making them focus on how to think, solve problems, analyze arguments. Moreover, they also are patient, kind, and above all, always smiling. All that features make the service excellent and difficult to find elsewhere.

The staff is very responsive via telephone and email. I also appreciated that the initial diagnostic testing was done very quickly and we quickly had results and a plan in place. Additionally, my son seems to enjoy it. So it's not a big chore. I also appreciate that there is no homework.
