We have been really pleased with the progress that Mathnasium has given our daughter. She is more confident about her math skills and more open to asking for help with problems. She enjoys her sessions and finds the incentive plan really enticing! Both our kids did Mathnasium At Home this summer and it was very successful and took out the stress of having them to practice math during the vacation. The staff is extremely helpful and very responsive which has made scheduling really seamless!

Both of my daughters went to Mathnasium and loved it. They both looked forward to going and I felt comfortable knowing that they were learning what they needed to. Everything is individually-crafted and the student's plan is re-evaluated continuously to ensure that they are learning and practicing what they need to. We all love Mathnasium and would highly recommend it without reservations to anyone looking for a fun and effective math program.

Mathnasium is a great place for your kid to learn! The staff members are super accomodating and helpful. My daughter can learn at her level with ease and I am very pleased with them. She loved coming to Mathnasium!

Both of my daughters have studied at the UES Mathnasium. I can't say enough about how much they love their sessions there. They both so look forward to going (which is definitely not the case with some of their other extra-curricular activities -- even the one's that they themselves choose to do). Mathnasium seems to have some magic formula for making kids enjoy the work that they do. From what I can discern, it includes motivated and engaged teachers, curricula and worksheets that are tailored to each specific student, and are adjusted constantly depending on the student's work, an innovative work arrangement with three students to a teacher (just the right amount to keep students interested in their own work, but small enough that each teacher has time for each student) and fun incentives. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Mathnasium.

Any time you get a 9-year-old to sit down on the weekend for 2 hours during math without complaining - is a success! I am not sure about the actual rate of the progress my daughter is making in math , but I have noticed her becoming more confident in math. She had a shining moment in class the other day explaining fractions to the District Superintendent, who visited her class and happened to sit at her table. The principle of the school praised Julia for making her and the whole school look good. The superintendent apparently said to my daughter “We know who the next superintendent is going to be! “ Good work Mathnesium for boosting my daughter’s confidence in math!

My daughters have learned a great deal of math since they have been going to Mathnasium. Equally important, they have learned to enjoy math as a subject and not to shy away from being challenged.

My daughter started the program a few weeks ago. She was initially skeptical about more math but goes willingly and loves the Mathnasium individualized format. She says the hour goes by fast and didn’t even fight when I signed her up for a 2 hr session. She likes working individually within her small group and the fact that no one is hovering over her but available for questions. She is also encouraged by the great incentive program that Mathnasium offers. Now I need to get my son signed up too!

Mathnasium continues to be a very positive experience for my daughter. She started out with huge anxieties about math. Tearful and scared. Within a short time she overcame her anxieties, and became confident. She is now at the top of her grade and the only downside is that she occasionally gets bored in her math class at school.. But it’s worth it. It has been such a relief as a parent to know that now she will always do well in math.

The best program and resource for Math enrichment and improvement on the UES! The Staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Our Daughter has a new found love of learning her Math!!

We had an in home tutor and also went to another tutoring space but my daughter kept making the same simple mistakes on tests. The way that mathnasium works like a gymnasium with the testing for weakness and then doing repetetive worksheets has helped improve her test scores and feel more confident.

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium for about two years and absolutely loves it! The teachers are friendly, engaging, and knowledgable. They make things fun for the kids with their teaching methods and special prizes! I am very greateful for their flexibility with scheduling as my daughter is very busy. Everytime I needed help, the staff is very accomodating and helpful. So its great for the parents as well!

Mathnasium classes have helped my son hone math skills he is familiar with while learning and mastering new material without developing any resistance to the effort required. He likes math and I am glad Mathnasium is encouraging his fondness for the subject instead of making it tedious.
