At her school, our daughter is expected to work at the pace of the teacher. At Mathanasium, instructors allow her to work at her pace. It has allowed her to grasp math skills better and retain them longer. She's also developed a confidence that we didn't see before starting Mathanasium.

Very convenient location & hours for my high school student. The fact that the tutors know New Trier’s math curriculum & testing schedule, they know how very specifically target areas in need of improvement or reteaching at the most critical of times.

We LOVE Ms. Betty. She is detailed, smart, kind and hires and trains amazing teachers.

The issue we have is that due to scheduling we have not been able to sign up again.

My wish list for HW or Kennilworth office:
Start earlier on Saturday morning! At least have a few appointments at 9. I would also like to see if there could be some appointments on Sunday too.

The only reason I might not recommend is the cost. It would be great if you offered financial aid. But other than that it seems like a good program.

Love the flexibility with classes, the instructors are great, the "vibe" in the place is very friendly PLUS my daughter is actually learning and gaining confidence in math!!!

We highly recommend Mathnasium of Kenilworth. We have been customers since our daughter was in grade school. Now that she is in high school we still recommend the wide ranging services. Fromenrichment to tutoring, and the homework club, kids learn confidence, self advocating have a a bit fun—all while doing their math work! We use Mathnasium to enrich, pre learn, relearn, shore up and sharpen our child’s math skills. The director, Ms. Betty Wang, unquestionably meets all of our needs consistently and shows that she really loves what she does. We highly recommend Mathnasium of Kenilworth!

Great individualized instruction. The teachers (and Miss betty!) seem to know the kids and its a very welcoming environment. My non-mathematical child actually enjoys going! My daughter has made great progress.

Whenever my child hits a roadblock in math, I call and let Ms Betty know and she is on top of it! My child’s most recent standardized testing showed a low score in geometry so I let mathnasium know. Within the week, mathnasium had tested my daughter, provided me with an email of the test results and followed up with a phone call to let me know they would be working with her on some of the weaknesses they detected. I highly recommend mathnasium and I also recommend going more than once a week. It truly has helped both of my children!

Ms. Betty and Mr. John are wonderfully kind and helpful to make sure our daughter receives the targeted math asisstance she needs.

We are so pleased with the results for both our kids over the last 4 years! My oldest son met our goal of getting into NT math and our youngest is a full grade level ahead in math. They both because very confident in math and really enjoyed going to Mathnasium. They never ever complained about going and actually enjoyed it! I give a ton of credit to Betty and John who have been constant at the center since we started. They really know the kids and reach out continuously to share how they are doing and offer to talk at any time. They are very valuable to Mathnasium Kenilworth!!
