Student Testimonials
I like the variety within the categories of classes and the quality of the instruction/guidance.
Susan taught a great Yoga Sculpt class!
Strength and consistency
This was a super class - lots of room and the pace was perfect. I'll head back. The only challenge is parking at ward for mid day classes is a nightmare!
Suzanne is great instructor
Lots of classes and times
Troy has a FANTASTIC way of encouraging, challenging and nurturing us. I loved SCULPT with TROY and sweet woman who greeted me and the amenities that I can enjoy there as well.
Really fun work outs and I love all of the instructors. Whitney is my fave! I also love that there are so many early and late class choices so that I can go before or after work.
Customer Service and caring staff
I do like going to this location very much. I do have a few comments:
1. It seems like there is a lot of turnover in management and that makes me wonder what is happening behind the scenes. That is a little distracting as a client.
2. I would prefer to have C2 classes a bit hotter.
3. I think black tag members should get free mats/towels 3 times per month.
4. I like that you carry clothing. It is a wonderful convenience.
That is all for now. Thank you for being a wonderful neighborhood yoga studio.
Having two studios in ward!

I love hot yoga fusion!

I like the variety.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I Love CP Ward and almost all of the teachers are lovely. Good people, good hearts, and actively teaching from tehir hearts. There is one teacher, Raquel, that I had to change my schedule to avoid. I have never done that before, as I am a mom, a wife, and career person, and have very limited time. Her class is that bad, that I had to make the change. In itself, the series is fine, vanilla, but fine. It is more about how Raquel comes across to students. She makes very inappropriate comments like "I'm in the best shape of my life and if your not, you are not connected to your body and have something going on". I'm paraphrasing but something like that. I agree with what she is saying overall, and as a fit person myself, I understand the mind/body connection. It is just not appreopriate, or compassionate, for a teacher to voice that in class. She has no idea what people are going through or what ailment they might have. Also, she constantly talks about herself: her dance classes, her massage career, etc. Again, its not bad in itself, its just that she seems to lack compassion and being connected to the group. I owned a a very successful yoga studio in Los Angeles and have taiught for 2 decades (yikes) and when I had my studio, I looked for teachers who were kind, honest, responsible and connected. For me, and for my values, I didnt just want super star teachers, but kind people who wanted to help others. Anyhow, I by no means want to bash Raquel and I hope you can help her find her way to more compassion, understanding of others, and maybe herself. I hope my comments help.
Your instructors are always friendly and helpful. I only take the HPF class, but I LOVE it!!
