Great instructors, excellent classes, beautiful studio.
Attended four (4) C1 classes in one week. Each class had a different instructor. All instructors were amazing in their practice, friendly and provided much needed guided instruction. Compared to other yoga studios where I have practiced in the past, I prefer CorePower Yoga at Bridgeport due to the consistency in their routines, the atmosphere of the studio and the expertise of their instructors. I needed to push myself to keep up and couldn't perform every move as I haven't practiced in four years, but I enjoyed it!
General Recommendation 1: when a heated yoga class precedes a C1 class, make time to open doors to bring down the temperature. One day I hope I can be conditioned enough to attend a heated class, but not now.
General Recommendation 2: in order to grow your studio, personnel not working the counter should be mingling with members/potential members in the lobby and not chatting with one another.
Direct recommendation to C2 instructor Michael: #1) on my very first day I attended a C1 and was going to try a C2. I remained in the room and was asking a question in a very quite manner to another attendee, she openly reprimanded me in a very rude unkind manner. I wasn't aware of the rule "not to talk". #2) Michael also openly offered direction to another attendee in a rude condescending manner in the lobby - this individual hasn't had the opportunity to practice yoga for several years. Michael's approach was like "don't attend a C2 class, as you're not capable". After witnessing this interaction, I doubt I would ever want to attend a class which Michael teaches for fear she would reprimand me in a destructive rather than constructive manner. If an individual can only attend a 5:30 pm class and Michael believes they shouldn't be in a C2 class, I guess Bridgeport will loose revenue. Not a wise business decision.
CorePower is my favorite place to practice. Challenging and thoughtful. Clean amenities, lovely staff. A++!
Professional staff! Experienced instructors, many classes to choose from for different levels.
Being the newest studio, it is the nicest in Portland. It really has a spa-like feel and it was spotless. My only complaint is that there aren't regular Hot or Hot Power Fusion in that 6:30 - 7pm week day time slot. For some reason, all 3 studios in Portland are featuring Yoga Sculpt in this time range, which is the best time for those of us who have regular office jobs, and I only take Hot & HPF. I was a member of CPY for many years and took a break recently for over a year. I was really dismayed that the evening schedule, especially in SE, changed so much. The only reason that I visited this studio is because it is somewhat near my home and it offers HPF in the evening on the weekend.

The teacher was great. She made sure people were using correct form and offered individual assistance when needed. She also had great music and her yoga/sculpt sequences flowed very nicely!

I love that the room is heated, allowing for a healthy sweat during any of the classes. I also really like that there are so many class offerings, making it easy to go at any time of day. The studio and locker room is beautiful and so far the instructors have all been wonderful!
I really just loved my teacher at Bridgeport. She was PHENOMENAL. Had such good energy.
I love the friendliness and warmth of the staff! They are so welcoming every time I come in and make me feel at home. I also love how challenging the classes are. My body has been transformed since I started at CorePower. I feel so much stronger, fit and toned. I have a serious knee injury, but I am able to do CorePower because my joints are protected by the good alignment that they teach, and since the rest of my body is stronger, my knee is more protected by the muscle strength that I've built by doing the classes.
Employees are excellent. I enjoyed yoga immensely there has just been a change of events to were I can't go full time any longer
