Fell on Friday night and went to Baptist South ER with broken arm. ER splinted and referred me to see JOI. Called first thing Monday as instructed expecting to be seen right away and first Scheduler was not very helpful in getting me in quickly. Called back and reached a different scheduler who did a great job getting me in sooner. She contacted Med. Assistant and they were able to get me in a few days sooner.. Once we got past first centralized scheduling experience couldn’t ask for any better care. Saw doctor for eval on Thursday and plan of action started. Doctors, staff, check in staff and everyone have
been excellent and very efficient.. Have confidence surgery and follow up’s will go well.

He quickly diagnosed my knee problem, explained it very clearly and applied treatment. Today I feel like a new person. I highly recommend JOI to anyone having Orthopaedic issues.

My appointment was with Dr. Rick Piceno. He was professional and friendly. I had taken a fall several weeks ago and still had a bruised knee with a lot of dull pain. He prescribed a gel for me to use alone with some exercises to do daily. Thankful surgery was not needed.
Never have to wait long to get X-rays or see the doctor. The team is caring, helpful, professional and friendly!

Doctor and staff are patient and understanding, listens and responds to problems. I never feel rushed. Doug always thoroughly explains the treatment needed. He is such an asset with his calming personality.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming during my first visit! My wait was minimal which I really appreciated. Dr. Sacksteder was personable and easy to speak with. After he left my room and I was preparing to leave, I remembered something I wanted to ask him and he returned to the room as soon as he was finished with the next patient. Impressive!
