First and foremost, JOI is patient centric. You sense this as soon as you go through the well organized check in process where you are quickly serviced and sent to the appropriate waiting area (where you do not spend much time waiting). The entire staff is efficient, productive, professional and friendly always putting the patient first. The physicians explain in a thorough manner their findings and provide you with a well thought out treatment plan keeping the patient’s health at the forefront.

Thoroughness
My therapist listened to all my concerns about my injury. She did a thorough assessment and took alot of notes. She showed me exactly how to preform the exercises that I needed and put me on a plan. The staff overall was very nice and helpful.
The first appointment wait time of 2 1/2 hours was excessive but that may have been due to Dr. Whitaker's patient load on that particular day. However, I noticed that everyone else was going right in.
The surgery went off without a hitch. I am curious to see how long the recovery time will be & if I will need physical therapy. Also, I had little pain after the surgery but that was due mainly to the nerve block. In fact I could not move my entire left arm until the day after the surgery & I took the pain medicine for an additional day after the nerve block wore off but I probably could have gotten by without it.
There is a form that I emailed to Heather that appears to be due by the first week of April.

Dr. Steinberg actually took the time to listen to me and gave me the information o needed to help me with my problem. I’m still going through testing now to determine what the actual cause of why I’m having the issue that I’m having.

Dr. Keller is an honest person who tells you just what needs to be done and what his thoughts are about your situation.
