I live in Fernandina Beach. I broke my hip. They transferred me to Baptist Beaches, saying there was one guy who could do the surgery I needed. I briefly met Dr. Von Thron before the surgery.. Next thing I know it's over. Being 76, I had heard some scary stories about hip surgery.
