Student Testimonials
Great all around
The instruction provided at CPY Encinitas is outstanding. One of the best parts is how most of the instructors go out of their way to know the students and greet them like family :)
Super friendly staff, inspiring, experienced teachers. Clean and lovely studio!
consistent instructors that are friendly and knowledgeable. The studios are also very clean and well appointed.
Frequent classes. Clean facility. Good teachers.
staff expertise, clean studio, good workout
The Encinitas studio has a great community of yogis. The manager Cici Escobar is a friendly presence who is very welcoming to each yogi, whether it is their first time there or if they are there every day. She is always smiling, knows everyone's name, and appears to develop a good relationship with everyone who steps through that door.
I have taken yoga classes from dozens of teachers in my life, and none come remotely close to the level of instruction that is provided by some of the teachers at CorePower. Josh Blatter is an example of an instructor who is of that high caliber. He is compassionate to beginners, knowledgable of yoga philosophy and anatomical alignment in postures, and sensitive to each individual practitioner's needs and limits. I first stepped into his class 3 years ago, and have kept coming back regularly ever since. This is not only because he runs a great class with creative and well-thought-out sequences, but also because I learn something new in each and every class I attend - whether it is a small facet of the yoga teachings or how to breathe through tricky arm balances.
Friendly, professional management + knowledgable and devoted teachers = happy customers! Thank you, CorePower!
It's as good as any place to start your yoga practice. Having the opportunity to take classes through out the day is great!
If you want to go to another yoga studio to break "it up", Corepower has plenty of studios around, so having a membership,
you have the option of taking classes close to home or around San Diego or around Southern California and Northern California
etc etc.
Variety of classes and times- clean and amazing facilities. Friendly staff
I like the instructors and the temperature of the classes. I like at the facility is kept clean.
Great customer service, knowledgable teachers, clean facilities, varied offerings
Unique experience... I love Encinitas and all of the yoga instructors there. The studio is clean and the service is great. I have to admit though, I miss the Mission Valley studio that I used to go to for 2 reasons: the instructors were more personal, engaged us in conversation and made an effort to get to know the students. They gave amazing adjustments and massages. In addition, there is only one studio in the mission valley studio so there was never a loud, obnoxious boot camp class going on next door to a C2 class at the same time. Very distracting.
Thank you for offering a free yoga class on my birthday, I noticed that the policy changed and now we have to take the class ON our birthday instead of in the week of our birthday. I understand that you don't have to give us a free class and it's a nice incentive, but would it cost that much more to let us take the class in the week of our birthday?
Love the teachers
I love that you offer classes almost every hour of each day.
Products are great. Some are even humorous as well as imaginative. Most are for women, though; but that's okay, it saves me money.
Services are also great. What I especially like is the variety of classes offered and the different (i.e. multiple) times of day they are offered. I also think the instructors are terrific. All have been very helpful and caring, emitting great enthusiasm for and love of what they are doing. On an 5 point scale (with 5 being the highest approval rating), I would give the instructors/guides of all the classes I have attended at least A five - some classes and some instructors, sometimes even a 5+. The great thing above the classes is that I always leave them feeling better than when I arrived - no matter how tired or down I felt on arrival. Sorry, no criticisms - although I hope all this praise doesn't jinx future my future experiences at CP, and thus end up having been the KISS OF DEATH. But I don't think it will. Bravo, COREPOWER! NAMASTE.
Excellent staff
The classes are challenging, however the teachers do a great job offering suggestions to make the class more intense or easy based on skill level. The teachers are all very knowledgable and take the time to getto know the students. This studio is always clean. I have recommended this studio multiple times to experienced yogis and people new to yoga- no matter what, everyone at this studio takes the time to make sure their experience is positive.
I usually practice at the Del Mar studio but always feel welcomed by the Encinitas staff. I am so grateful for the Corepower community.
The main thing I like about Core Power is it's convenience. I'm never sure when I'll have time for a class, but there are so many options that it's always easy to find something that fits my schedule. It's an added bonus that Core Power has such a dynamic teaching staff that any class is sure to be engaging AND challenging.
Its hot
The instructor does not pine on about the moon and the stars and the bla bla bla, they keep the instructions short and concise allowing the class to enjoy the poses with out incessant commentary
The place is clean and has a nice vibe
The members of the school are focused and are there to practice yoga
Perfect balance of intensity heat and yoga elements...
Great experience
What an amazing class! Only my second time and I am hooked and signed up for 10 classes.
Very clean! Big rooms! Great instructor!
Clean, tidy, great teachers, beautiful space
I like the reception area , friendly staff, the clean bathrooms and lockers, the yoga room and the teachers were great
easy going and friendly atmosphere
Clean, well managed facility. Variety of classes and times. Only improvement I would suggest is consistency across classes with hands-on adjustments, especially in final resting pose. Best yoga classes I've experienced have at least one adjustment per student during class with a final release adjustment during final resting pose for every student.
Lots of classes! There's always one I can make, even with my busy schedule. Love the instructors, really know their stuff and the place has great energy!
It's a "10". It was what I expected without disappointment. I'm new to this. I'm hooked.
------------ no sense in sharing the below.....
I would like to comment on CoerPower Yoga as it applies to the business model - all locations. Gosh, the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner is so thin that it slides right out of your hands when it hits them, what get to your body slides right off too. Now as I am sitting here I am thinking I need to use a wash cloth, OK, no brainer, but I'm really not looking for a big shower, just to leave not sweaty. So, I think you loose more money (money down the drain) using these thin liquids, vice getting some that are a bit creaming (concentrated) that won't fall off. I think people would use less product if they worked better even equating to less time in shower which goes to saving water and the expense and turning over the shower quicker to someone else. Thus, high cost up front might save more in the end.
Great Yoga class

good energy in most of the classes when it is hot and the music is good. The teachers are talented and incredibly helpful, great cues and guidance.
