The only thing I would suggest is to provide quieter music. The speakers blast music and it’s impossible to hear the instructor - especially if you are close to the speakers. Thanks for considering! After all the fee is for the instructor and not the music.

I’m taking yoga 2 classes with two amazing dedicated teachers: Daveed on Saturday morning and Shawna WO on Tuesdays. They have absolutely different approaches and style of guidance but both are very dedicated and give a lot more than just yoga.
On the other hand, the studio is very small and always packed. It was not built for the large crowds that the Fashion Island area expected.

Great well rounded yoga experience at CPY Brea! It is the cleanest studio in OC. The teachers are experienced and kind. The schedule is usually very full which is one of the main reasons I love CPY. I am enjoying the unheated 45 minute strength class! I love the 1200 slot Monday thru Thursday and I hope we get a 1200 Friday class and more strength weekend classes. C2 is my favorite! I appreciate the manager Amber so much! She is a great teacher and leader.
Had a substitute teacher and can't say enough - she was actually right up there with probably the two best I've ever had (David in Tustin) - why was she great. She took her time during the begining of class - I have found a disturbing trend among many teachers who literally act like they have to make an appointment in the speed in which they blow throw standing, to crouch, to mountain - the opening series. It is by far the most important part of class - the body is cold, forward bends and back bends can be tough on the back - it's not a flow - it needs to be slowed down tremendously. If you are going to error on having to cut parts of class or speed them up, don't speed up any part of the balancing series - speed up ground work or better, cut out useless parts of the class like standing tree, or stop holding parts of poses for so long that are either not helpful or repetitive - forehead to knee does not require you to stand with your leg at 90 degrees for 20 seconds before entering the pose and if it was then why do standing tree, it is so close to the same. Anyways, get that substitute doing more classes, she nailed it and just as important because many times with subs they tend to shy away from heat - she nailed that also.
