I really enjoyed Tosha's C2 and joining the Teacher Training group at this studio. Pam and Billy are awesome and were super welcoming (I'm currently visiting from the Washington, D.C. DuPont Circle Teacher Training group). Everyone at the front desk was welcoming and when I arrived, Tosha gave me a quick tour of the space. I love how this studio and other studios in SD are so unique and built into and around existing infrastructure. A lot of the newer studios I've seen in the DC area are in newer structures and don't have the same broken in feel. I'm guessing that will vary everywhere I go. Regardless, I appreciate it :)

The instructor for the C2 class I took on Sunday (? Sarah?) was FANTASTIC. It was "real" yoga in every positive sense.
Occasionally an instructor will try to "mix things up" a little too much and deviate away from traditional yoga progressions. The class on Sunday was everything yoga was meant to be. Great class!

I have been coming to this studio for about 5 years. It has a small back room that gets quite hot during hpf classes and there’s not a lot of air due to the low ceiling. Most of the instructors know how to ventilate the room but there’s times where I feel like I’m not getting enough oxygen. Otherwise the studio is great. I love the people and the challenging classes.

I really like that there is such a variety in the styles of different teachers. Members can find teachers whose styles support what they are wanting to achieve through their yoga practice. If a particular teacher’s style doesn’t work for you, there are always plenty of options for other classes and teachers. And, a style that doesn’t work for you will be just what another student needs. Core Power Yoga is a good fit for everyone, as there are excellent teachers who consistently teach great classes. Members are able to personalize their experiences while being confident that they will receive good instruction in challenging and safe classes.
