Instructor - heated space

We took a C1 class on Sunday 7/23, in the afternoon. It was my boyfriend's first class. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and gave him a sticker to put on his mat so the teacher would know he was new. Unfortunately during class the teacher paid no attention to assisting him with postures. She seemed to go around and adjust everyone but him. The pace of the class was very fast without much description of the poses.

We went back today for another C1 and what a difference! We had Bo for an instructor and he was absolutely amazing! Great cues and descriptions of the postures. I have been taking C2 and HPF for years and I felt coming back to C1 in Bo's class I really was able to correct how I have been practicing. He also did a nice job coming around to all of the students in the class. We will definitely be back for Bo's class again. My rating of a 9 is based on today's experience and on my experience with CPY over the year, not based on our experience on 7/23.

I like how close the studio is to my home. I was very impressed with the quality of the interior and locker rooms -very nice, great features and things appeared to be clean and well organized. For my first class I would have liked to know more about what the words meant and for the C1 class to move at a slower pace. I felt rushed and had no idea what to do. The instructor, although knowing I was new, didn't introduce herself or make any attempt to assist me during the class.

I've just started back to yoga, so loved Nancy R and Sarah leading the way...and great to see Melissa again. Hot Yoga is my love, so please keep the 11:45-12:45 class on the schedule. It works for both elementary and preschool hours. FYI...cherry creek elementary schools will be starting at 8am instead of 9am this coming school year, which begins Aug 14. Buses will pick up kids between 7:20 and 7:30, instead of 8:20/8:30. Your morning classes may be less crowded because of this shift. Your studio looked beautiful and clean. Thanks so much!!!

Teachers are great

The kindness, knowledge and experience of the instructors amaze me every time! Yoga poses can be just yoga poses without the right teacher. But when you have the right guide it makes all the difference. It becomes personal and becomes a true mind body and soul experience. The yoga instructors at Cherry Hills are some of the best in the industry. I would recommend anyone to check out this location.
