Powerhouse West Bloomfield is a great gym. The fitness classes and their instructors are the best. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym has something for everyone.
I think it is wonderful that the Novi Powerhouse accept Silver Sneaker. I especially love the classes.

Pool. Sauna. Jaqusi.
Easy access, neat and the staff are very nice and supportive. Though they have group classes, the instructors make feel more individualized because observe each individual and provide alternate activity.
Numerous machine options.
The classes are amazing! My favorites are Sunday, Tuesday, and thursday Zumbas in the daytime. Cardio Barre on Tuesday and Strong Nation on Thursday.
I enjoy that there is a womens only section for working out (upstairs).

The locker room smells like food in the morning. Staff should eat else where.

Needs... to be larger, more equipment, weight area, row machines, etc.
Also, the Wet Sauna is barely warm, needs to be hot and with some eucalyptus steaming thru. the barely warm wet air smelled badly, felt unclean.
