we’ve always had a great experience at this theatre. However, this last time we went to watch IT, there were a group of people that were together and they were constantly getting up to go down to the bar and purchase beer. One of them was do drunk that every time he would come up the stairs he was bumping into the railing. One of your staff members along with security finally came up to tell him something but didn’t ask him to leave. One of the people he was there with finally grabbed him to get him out of there. I don’t understand why they kept serving him or that no one noticed how bad he was. That was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had there. Hope it doesn’t happen again.

Food was great. Got the Philly cheese steak and the lotsa meatsa pizza. Plus the guy talked us into getting the mega combo and a cookie. Real nice guy. Thanks for an awesome experience.

Always clean and great customer service. However the restroom are never clean and they always smell, but i will still recommend family and friends to go to the mayan; i understand how busy the staff can be with so many customers and they cant get to clean the restrooms.

I went to the Mayan Palace in the Southside of San Antonio. It use to be the ghetto theatre! Lol But with renovations it’s just as nice as our north side theaters. Anyways I saw IT chapter 2 and besides the movie being really great the seats were so comfortable and the sound experience was unbelievable. The sound test example before the movie is so incredible that it makes you get goose bumps. The lounge is even better now with alcohol now if you want to sip a little. The only thing is I know theaters have always been pricy but the concessions are just way to much. With all the money it brings in I think it could lower the cost a little. Come on the IT cup of soda almost cost $9. Come on when you can get a soda bigger then that at a gas station for 99 cents. But the experience was good. I’ll continue to go but just not as much as I would before.
