I'm a 45 year old professional woman and have short hair. I thought I'd give a men's oriented salon to update my hair from boardroom boring to edgy street style. First off, I highly suggest marketing to women as well....at least at this location. The girl who did my hair had long naturally curly hair that almost made me miss my long hair until she started to cut my hair. She asked me questions that every single stylist out there should do. "What don't you like about your hair right now? How much effort are you willing to put in daily? Does your hair now represent how you want to feel?", she asked BEFORE picking up the shears. How did I NOT hear of this salon before?! Since then, I've had random strangers, women only , ask me where I had my hair done. The look on their face is priceless when I tell them . It makes sense though. If a woman is confident enough to wear short hair, then who better to cut it than the experts on short hair! The bonus for me was being able to watch a sports game that I can't get at home.....girls like sports too.

My son who is 13 really loves the service and that it's just for guys.only one did we have a bad experience.two times ago there was a male who rushed thru his birthday Haircut.was supposed to get the who MVP treatment but didn't. I had left to run an errand and was shocked he was done in such short amount of time. When I went to pay I have his birthday coupon for MVP package and guy took coupon but knew he didn't receive it.I found out after we left my son told me. Almost was not gonna go back but did recently and found out that male no longer works there so we will continue to go

i like the mvp but the last time i had it i wasnt to the level i was use too, he didnt turn on the back thing while getting the mvp and when back in the chair it was very short didnt do that great of job, also left the front of my hair un even, cut from the side/back not the front to make sure it was straight

Staff is friendly and competent, great haircut because they really listened to what I expected before they started cutting. The VIP is an excellent service, it got a thumbs up from my 10 year old grandson as he was taken back to the chair to finish up.

Just to specifically state that Taz from the Guelph location was an incredibly warm, hospitable, friendly and kind host for my first visit to Sport Clips. Was greeted pleasantly, by her, and then offered the MVP treatment for the price of a regular haircut, as it was my first visit. I should also mention that I have long, long hair, and travel The World at every chance, so I am not a typical client, who expects to discuss this week's sporting news in North America, while getting a trim. Rather, I had to clean myself up for a vacation in Latin America this month, after returning from backpacking Europe for 32 days. So we had a great chat about travel, family, and the World in general. Great customer service provided throughout my visit. Would highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks again Taz! You Rock! I will return again the next time I need a cut. Sport Clips, give this girl a big raise!

Friendly, and accommodating staff! Short wait time for service, with multiple sports themed magazines (Hockey News), and Hi-Def TV to watch in the waiting area. Considerate stylists who possess excellent customer service in an environment that is thoughtful to the clientele, without being patronizing to the client, nor degrading to the staff. I really felt that the staff were content and proud to work here, without ever being exploited by a male clientele, or feeling that they were being exploited based on gender stereotypes. A very fair and even business, with respect to gender equality, while catering to primarily male customers. I never felt as a client that I was in a business that had unfair expectations towards its staff.

Everything is so great as it always is, was, and ever will be. Besides giving a tip, I am also more than happy to always bring treats to all the ladies who work there to not only show my appreciation, but also as a way of letting them know to continue to keep up the excellent work!
