Great ambiance (lively, but quiet enough for conversation), well-trained, knowledgeable, hard-working wait staff, innovative and well-executed food and a well-stocked bar. I've eaten at La Tavola many, many times over the years and the experience is always exemplary. I especially appreciate the nice selection of vegetarian options and the choice of a non-alcoholic beer.
ONE thing that's not so good: the mind-numbing, monotonous loop of noise that you play in the place of background music. Yeah I know exactly why you do it. It's royalty-free and so it's cheaper. And you hope that your guests won't notice. Well we do notice. And it's awful. You can't not hear it. It's the one thing that otherwise spoils a perfect dining experience.
You can afford to pay the ASCAP license for real music. Please do that. All of your customers will appreciate it and you won't look like you're having to cut costs to stay afloat - that's not the image you want to project, right?
The food and the terrace! The squid ink spaghetti and wine selection were great!

Great as always, but you guys should add a dry prosseco to your wine rotation.
The food was fantastic! The basil lemonada was refreshing, the beet salad was tangy, the tagliatelle was as outrageous as always, and the pork chop for two (with arugula and peach purée, and pickled blueberries) was TO DIE FOR. The ladyfingers with strawberries and lemon cream was mouth watering and the perfect way to end the meal. Every single course was perfection. I love La Tavola and the fact that it's in my neighborhood. Can't go back soon enough!

I have been in Atlanta 15 years and really enjoy Ecco, Alma and La Tavola. Last night was special. We had Will as our server at La Tavola and he really shined and made our night great. from wine recs to dish recs. he was 10 stars. I dine out a lot for work and pleasure and Will stood out.
