Our waitress Emily was terrific, the house drinks delicious, the food superb, the atmosphere cozy, and convenient valet parking.
After having gone there frequently for 10 years, Karen and I know the staff well. They are all extremely accommodating, friendly . . . the place feels like our favorite neighborhood hang-out . . . the food is wholly reliable . . . just a great vibe. And each and every time, we feel genuinely welcomed . . . like we were going to dinner at a friend's house. Bravo! Viva Italia!

The food isn't fantastic and very fresh. The beet salad is great and the pastas always spot on.

Friendly staff, attention to detail, you always remember me, my preferences and allergies. Makes you a terrific neighborhood restaurant as well as a special destination. I send ppl from out of town to your restaurant - they always say it was their favorite outing of their business or personal trip. I saw a couple standing on the side walk one night - they had driven in from elsewhere in Atlanta to have dinner at a restaurant nearby that turned out to be not quite what they expected - they looked disappointed and unsure of what to do or if they should get back in their car. I sent them to La Tavola and later saw them sitting in one of the windows tables. They smiled and said they were delighted. I was so happy - you guys never let your patrons down.

Warm and intimate and amazing food
The service was casual, yet in a very professional, welcoming/hospitable way. The bolognese was the best I've ever had, and appropriately portioned. Can't wait to go back!
