We got there right at 4 and stayed through happy hour. The bar tender was great, and so was the food and drinks. Nice atmosphere. I think it gets really crowded, but we were lucky. It was just right. We will be back

Our server, at the bar during happy hour, was phenomenal! We love your restaurants and will definitely come back for dinner. Our only bit of feedback is to get a more palatable happy hour wine (red). We’ve always enjoyed what is served at Lure. Your group does a great job of hiring wonderful, caring servers. Oh, the chickpea fries were yummy. I am vegan so our server (I am so sorry I didn’t get her name!) brought some harrisa for me to use as a dip since I don’t eat aioli. Very thoughtful. :)))))))
Good variety and service
My wife and I live around the corner from Ela, and we were patrons of El Taco for its entire lifespan. We have now dined at Ela four times since it opened. Frankly, we were disappointed with our first dining experience but have been much happier with subsequent visits. We are pescatarian, so our selections have been influenced by that. As far as starters, we have enjoyed the hummus trio, the Calabrian Prawns, the Baby Eggplant, and the Grilled Artichoke. The Mezze Board was OK, but we did not enjoy the Delicata Squash. As far as the mains, we really like the pompano and the chili-garlic shrimp. We did not like the Mythos Beer Battered Cod. The couscous has been OK. For desert, we have only tried the donuts, which were tasty. As far as drinks, we liked the Izzy Isles and the Spice Road, but will probably not order the Foreign Exchange again. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and the staff have been great. Overall, it seems the restaurant is settling in, but might benefit from some tweaks of the menu.
