The latest Fifth Group Restaurant, Ela, is a great addition to Virginia Highlands. The food is very good (best hummus I've ever had), and the restaurant is already a favorite place in the neighborhood. On Saturday night full of happy people of all ages enjoying good food.

Our food was excellent! The pork chop had a wonderful sweet and smoky flavor. The fried chicken was moist and delectable and the blood orange sorbet was rich and flavorful but well balanced. Our server was very knowledgeable, approachable, and kind. Our experience was warm and inviting, it was wonderful!

Atmospheric
Sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with Meeks and Marisa - made us some fantastic cocktails and we enjoyed tasty food - we will be back!
Our server, Jose, was patient and accommodating. He explained the menu, and everyone was very happy with their meal choice. He recommended the chocoflan for dessert and the table enjoyed it as well. Alma Cocina will be a regular spot for team lunches.
