Everything, from the friendly/helpful people at the front desk to the cleanliness of the entire facility. The trainers are all excellent, as is the variety of classes offered. Prior to joining this Y, I never knew what a valuable community resource it is. The Stuart YMCA is not my Gym and where I belong, it’s where everyone belongs and is truly welcome.

After nearly 20 years as a Y member, it’s the community that stands out most to me. Looking back, almost all of my closest relationships started in my neighborhood, my church, or right here at the Y.

Friendly casual atmosphere—gym is not filled with super serious, intense jocks.
Good environment. Please fix the potholes in the parking areas. It is getting dangerous.

Hi, Rob Reid here. I'm just an old swim guy. I'm there at 6:15am, greeted by smiling Adrian. How he remembers my name is a mystery. The stall is always early prepping the pool. Pierre is a working machine, also very friendly and helpful as is other staff. The water is perfect! The YMCA has made a positive difference in my life and my hat is off to all. Cheers!

Machines are varied and good quality; staff is polite and helpful; hours are good; we like the people who come here.

I mainly attend the water aerobics classes and come to the pool other times on weekends
Besides everything...I always feel comfortable with both the people who work here, and the past, present, and future friends I meet. Hard to find unfriendly people here. Daycare, classes, group fitness, fitness /workout room, pool, swim lessons, afterschool, summer camp, basketball, pickleball, and all the social events.

Excellent organization and facility.
I was happy to retain my membership during the entirety of the pandemic because of the excellent things the Y did to help the children of first responders and nurses. I appreciate the camps and activities for low income children. It’s a great, positive place. The staff is excellent.
(I just wish the temperature was 5 degrees cooler inside the exercise area. It is consistently hot and it has been for years…)
